***FLASHBACK***

"Please Lizzy!"

"No Liam! You know how I feel about him!"

"So it should be easy!" He begged

"No! If I pretend to be his girlfriend I'll just end up falling for him even more."

"But, you're my sister, can you please just do this one thing for me?" He turned those big brown eyes on me. I sighed

"How long?"

"Just until this whole Demi and him dating thing has blown over."

"Fine, but he can't know how I really feel."

"Thank you Lizzy! You're the best!" Liam yelled spinning me in a hug

And that's how I ended up fake dating my best friend Niall Horan. It's been a week and I'm getting ready for our "first date". I put on a sapphire blue, fit and flare, knee length dress, silver heels, and my silver necklace with an L charm. I curled my hair and put in a half up do. Moving on to makeup I applied light foundation, mascara, liner, and light pink lip gloss. I grabbed my sapphire clutch and put my phone in it just as the doorbell rang. Liam called up the stairs

"Lizzy, Niall's here!"

I went downstairs and Li beamed at me.

"You look great sis! Remember, you're really into each other, have fun!"

He said pushing us out the door. We walked to the car and Niall grabbed my wrist.

"You look beautiful LizzyBear, and thank you so much for doing this."

My heart jumped in my chest but I just smiled.

"Thanks Nialler, and it's no problem, anything for my best friend." I chirped. He gasped

"Friends, is that all we are?!?" I laughed

"Behind the cameras, yes"

He came around and opened my door for me. When we were both in the driver set off.

"And what about on camera?"

"Then you're my special Irish snowflake who I love very much" I smiled cheesily at him. He chuckled

"Never be an actress Lizzy, you're not good at all." I scoffed

"I'm amazing! I have to pretend to like you don't I?"

"Ouch" He put his hand over his heart dramatically. Giggling, I shoved him playfully.

"I'm just kidding, you know I like you"

Just not the way you like me. He smirked at me, those blue eyes melting my heart.

"You know you love me LizzyBear"

Before I could respond we pulled up to the resteraunt. There was paparazzi everywhere! Niall got out and opened my door, slipping his arm around my waist. We smiled and acted all "coupley". They went crazy but, made a path for us to get in. We got inside and Niall dropped his arm taking my hand instead. Tingles shot up my arm as I intertwined our fingers. He smiled at me

"Nice"

"Well if we're 'together' it needs to be believable, it's your arse I'm saving."

He rolled his eyes

"Yeah, yeah, I know." The waitress led us to a nice private little booth and handed us menu's. We ordered and I asked something I'd been wondering for a while.

"So how long do you think this will go on?"

"I'm not really sure, at least a couple months or so."

"And what do we do if...say....one of us starts developing feelings for the other?" He furrowed his brow.

"I-I don't know. I hope we'd have enough trust to tell the other, them take it from there I suppose."

Okay, now I'm stuck. I already love him but I'm dead scared to tell him. So I laughed, completely faking it.

"Yeah, but that won't happen. I mean we're best friends, that'd be weird right?" He didn't answer.

After dinner we walked down the road to a park. We walked hand in hand to a bench in front of a little lake. I had to tell him, I have to. I took a deep breath.

"There's something I need to tell you." We said at the same time.

"You go first" Niall said. I steeled myself.

"Niall you're a great friend, one of the best I've ever had. But I don't think-I can't" I sighed

"You remember what I asked at dinner?"

He nodded

"Well, my feelings are-already developed" His eyes went wide

"You mean?" I nodded. He grinned

"God Lizzy, why didn't you just tell me?

"Because I was terrified! I still don't know why I told you. I'm such an idiot!" I looked away from him. He took both my hands in his.

"You're NOT an idiot, if you hadn't told me I don't think I would have had the courage to tell you." I met his gaze.

"What in the name of all things carrot are you talking about?" He chuckled.

"You're insane LizzyBear, I'm saying I feel the same way" I looked deep into his eyes.

"Are you serious? Why didn't you say anything?"

"I was scared"

"Of how I'd react or how Liam would?"

"Both, but it doesn't matter now" He smirked leaning in

"Guess not" I whispered before connecting our lips. I slipped my arms around his neck. I felt the fireworks. My whole body was on fire, it was everything it was supposed to be and more. We pulled away smiling hugely at each other. I giggled, totally ecstatic.

"So I guess we're not-so-fake dating huh?" He asked

"Looks like it"
