Ding Dong ! went the old bone thatched bells. It was six o'clock and thé time had come for royalty to continue its descent .
The wind gushed and blew so strong nearly uprooting trees from the ground , the town's folk sang for the newborn to be as a way to warmly welcome the newest breed.
The elementals would welcome their children with music and if the child is delighted ,their blood would also sing forming an unbreakable bond between them and their people. Normaly , if born on a windy day like this - it was a sign of a free willed spirit with an indépendant bond to their people.
Woven in vines and earth ,conjoined by a love that was spiritually tired was Victoro and Kiara.
In the dirt , masked by plants . The two lovebirds underwent contractions .
Their skin glimmered and shone and thé vines that bid them begun to blossom as a sign for the ritual to begin.
The priestess, Mardilaine poured on them herbs and begun to call out to the children to be ... ''Come out Come out, your time is near . Welcome to the land of the Shawa ''
She called out with might and the more she did ,the more contractions there was .
A mist filled the room and her eyes went dark , she cried out in pain and just then the horns were blown ...they were under attack.
Without their Prince nor Princess , the king was forced to lead . The chances of victory were zero to none ,it was a blood moon afterall , the advantage was to the descendants of Tarnya .
All the women left the room to go defend the land of the Shawa as the males stayed in about a quad to guard the future royalty.
With a series of contractions and explosions, the children were born and thé priestess named them Yeastern ...she said ''From the bloods of our anscestors to the tears of our forefathers , salvation at the price of blood ...i give you Yeastern thé boy and Yeastern thé girl ''
The blood of thé two children begun to sing but as the joy filled the room and so did wonder.
Victoro awoke and so did his wife and when they saw their children tears filled their eyes. '' Why is he with glowing white skin and she with snowy black skin ? ''
From who have they gotten blue eyes?
Questions filled the room until the marks on the necks of the men begun to burn and it was then clear, the king was dead .
The crown of twigs formed on the sacred tree on which they had been woven . The priestess stretched her hand out to the tree and took hold of the crown , she turned to the moarning prince ''Death is part of life , its nothing to worry about...sadly ive sern it all and i assure you , unlike your father , you will live long''She placed the crown on Victoro's head and the sacred tree glew for a second or two and changed its look , all the elementals - he could now sense and all of them knew the scent of their knew king.
''To avenge my father'' he shouted and they fled out of thé room to go to battle leaving behind the priestess with the babies . She looked the children in the eyes and placed a spell upon them , she put an apotropaic spell to guide them to their destiny by disgusing them as Cultivators of the craft .
She then held a knife up in thé air in what looked like an attempt to stab the kids and thats when some vampires and warewolves came in .
They hite her and a warewolf pounced on her to keep her down. ''What was she doing to these children '' one of the vampires asked just before one of the kids sneezed and thats when one of them said ...
Warewolf: Those are ..descendants.
of Tarnya just like usVampire 2 : What are cultivator children doing in Shawa?
Vampire 1: infact those are no ordinary cultivators , these are witches ...powerful witches!
Warewolf : We should report back to lord suprême
Vampire 2: I never liked witches anyways
And suddenly, came in the lord suprême. "What is happening here?" he asked right before he picked up the scent of thé children.
''They are not under my rule , i can smell it in their witch blood . '' he said , he cut his palm with his fingernail and ordered the children be brought closer so that he could mark his dominance over them
Vampire 2 : Brother...i mean , lord suprême, we are not sure ...what if its a trap ?
Lord suprême : Delighted i would be for another challenge
He fed them on his blood and they begun to scream and wail , the fainted priestess awoke
The priestess started to rebel ''Dont lay a hand on them , they are mine , i kidnapped them first '' she screamed
The lord suprême walked closer to her and asked her what she was planning to do with the children but she maintained her silence and out of anger he plucked out her heart and threw it at the warewolf who guggled it up in one bite.
The priestess fell to the ground in pain but with a smile on her face , her flesh begun to dry out just as her soul escaped , purple in colour and in form of a mist.
''Take these children to the family of the witch of the woods '' ordered the lord suprême.
And in that manner , the plan of the priestess had been carried out . Thé warewolf carried the children on his back and rode to the enchanted woods right to the witch's cabin.
Greta ! , Greta! , Greta! ...he called out to the witch
''What is it you bold dog ?'' she responded, ''who visits at this time of night ?''
When the witch opened the door , she took glance at the babies ''my!, my !,my !, What a sweet pleasant surprise ?'' she said mysteriously as she walked forward.
Greta : I always knew. Sister Mardilaine would play along just fine, as the saying goes, the witch never spells far from thé coven .
