Now, Forever and Always

FIEST

The three girls walk into the great hall, the smell of freshly lighten candles and the warm atmosphere calmed Viper. After the new first years were sorted into each house the first years took their seats. Viper then looked towards the table eyeing out her godfather.  After Dumbledore braced the school with his opening speech he then briefly informed the students about the freely roaming dementors around school and how everyone has to be extra cautious with the escape of Sirius Black. 

Viper just rolled her eyes, on the edge of her seat waiting for Dumbledore to announce her Godfathers new position.

"On a happier note." There it was Viper thought, readying herself to stand up. "I am pleased to welcome two new teachers in our ranks this year. Firstly I would like to welcome Professor R.J Lupin, who has kindly consented to fill the post of Defence against the Dark Arts." Viper stood up with no hesitation and gave the proudest applause expecting shed be the only one, she was surprised to hear a few loud applauses as well from the Gryffindor table. Vixen gave a loud whistle and Dove whooped. 

"Look at his robes." Draco muttered. 

Vixen shot back a look but before she could retort back anything, Viper held her shoulder and looked down to her and shook her head. Vixen crossed her arms and slammed them on the table  making all eyes go to her. 

"You've got an eye problem, look away." Dove said to the boys confused. 

"It's fine, his words are just dust in the wind." Viper said sitting down as they announced Hagrid's new position. "They mean absolutely nothing to me." 

"Now without further nonsense. FEAST." Dumbledore shouted as a huge line of food from one end of the table appeared to the other end. Students diving in without hesitation and chatter filled the hall. Viper pulled a piece of bread and grabbed a plate of beans for herself eating in as if she didn't just have a whole steak the yesterday. Her moment in bliss was then disturb by a croaking noise coming from the opposite end of the table. 

"Going to faint again Harry." 

"Wait he fainted he actually fainted." Draco scoffed. 

"Quit it Draco." said Vixen, annoyed. 

"Shut it Johnson." Draco spat but coughed as Blaise elbowed him.

"Malfoy.." And with that one word Draco kept quiet and looked back down to his plate and so did Crabbe and Goyle. 

Blaise snickered, "Thats what got you to shut up... man you were worse than I thought." he said shacking his head. 

One could hear a small shut up from Draco's mouth while Blaise was laughing and Vixen and Dove who were across him, was trying to hold in theirs. Viper however avoided all eye contact.

"You should have seen his face, Malfoy scared of you, merlins you were so wicked." Dove said skipping along with the rest of the Slytherins who were exiting the dining hall.

"I don't sit in silence to anyone who bothers my friends, besides I was never afraid of him, if he takes away my quidditch broom... I'll just buy a new one ." Viper shrugged. 

"And if he kicks you off the team." Vixen asked. 

"He can certainly try." she mocked. 

A voice from behind then called out, "MS PEGUSY." The tall figure came closer and more visible behind the crowd of students. 

"Professor Lupin." The two girls who weren't his goddaughters said in unison. 

"A word..." Remus said before eyeing the girls to walk away and retire for the night before finally saying, "Good Night girls." The two girls looked at each other while Viper sighed.
