𝗧𝗨𝗠𝗕𝗟𝗥 𝗪𝗜𝗦𝗗𝗢𝗠 chapter five
The three girls moved up the stairs in a wave of chatter and giggles, winding toward their next class with Lydia's sharp eyes glancing over at Allison. She raised an eyebrow, already sensing something. "So, Scott's coming over tonight?" she asked, a teasing grin curling at the edges of her lips.
Behind them, Celeste suddenly froze on the step, her expression playful but full of mock betrayal. "Wait, what?! Hello! Why didn't I know about this?" she said, lightly smacking Allison's shoulder. Allison gave an embarrassed laugh, her cheeks coloring.
"We're just studying together," she said, her voice lifting with an innocent air that Celeste and Lydia clearly weren't buying.
Lydia shook her head knowingly. "Right. 'Just studying' never actually ends with just studying," she quipped, her tone carrying the seasoned confidence of someone who'd seen this all before. "It's like getting into a hot tub; someone eventually cops a feel."
Allison shot her a look, half-amused and half-exasperated. "So, what are you saying?" she asked with a sheepish grin, like she was almost afraid of the answer.
"I'm saying..." Lydia gave a little shrug, her smile mischievous. "Just make sure he covers up," she replied in a mock-serious tone.
Celeste broke into laughter, adding with an over-the-top wink, "No glove, no love, Alli!"
Lydia threw Celeste a questioning look, trying to keep a straight face. "Where on earth did you pick that up?"
Celeste shrugged with a mischievous smile. "Read it on Tumblr once. Some good advice on there."
Lydia rolled her eyes dramatically. "Tumblr wisdom, of course." Then she turned back to Allison, arching an eyebrow. "Look, I'm just saying, Snow White—if you're going to 'do it,' then for heaven's sake, do it with a condom."
Allison's jaw dropped, her face going pink. "Are you kidding? After one date?"
Lydia sighed, clearly entertained. "Don't be a total prude, Allison! Give him a little taste."
Celeste giggled, mouthing the words along with Lydia as she said it, having heard her say it a thousand times before. She looked at Allison's slightly horrified expression and added playfully, "Just... a little appetizer."
