Seokjin nervously glanced at his reflection in the mirror, eager to make a good impression on his date. Finally, the day had arrived to spend time with the man who had stirred so many emotions within him.A gentle knock at the door made his heart race. As he opened it, he was immediately struck by Jungkook's stunning appearance.
"You look... wow!" Jungkook stammered, struggling to find the right words to describe Seokjin's beauty.
Seokjin blushed, returning the compliment. "You look handsome as well."
"This is nothing compared to your beauty, but please accept this small gift," Jungkook offered, presenting a bouquet of red roses. Seokjin's face turned an even deeper shade of red as he gratefully accepted the flowers.
Jungkook drove them to a charming restaurant. As they were seated, they ordered their meal.
While they waited for their food, Jungkook cleared his throat and began, "So, let me introduce myself properly. My name is Jeon Jungkook."
Extending his hand, Jungkook smiled.Seokjin giggled as he shook it. "Kim Seokjin," he replied.
"So, tell me more about yourself, Seokjin. I'd love to know you better," Jungkook asked.
"Well, I'm an only child who grew up in Gwacheon. I moved to Seoul for college and decided to stay. I currently work in sales. I'm 29 years old and I enjoy playing video games and eating. Your turn," Seokjin said with a smile.
"I'm also an only child from Busan. I moved to Seoul to pursue my dream of owning a famous cafe. I love food, video games, and I'm 30 years old," Jungkook replied.
They chatted about their shared interests until their food arrived. After dinner, they decided to take a walk along the Han River. As they strolled, Jungkook took Seokjin's hand and intertwined their fingers. Seokjin blushed but didn't pull away.
"So, Jungkook, when did you start working at Moon Cafe?" Seokjin asked curiously.
Jungkook chuckled. "I own Moon Cafe, Seokjin. I know it's surprising. I rarely work at the front counter. I usually spend my time in the kitchen or my office. I only worked the counter for a few days because we were short-staffed."
Seokjin was astonished. "Wow, that's unexpected. I guess I should thank you for being short-staffed. Otherwise, we might never have met."
"Actually, Seokjin, I've liked you for a while," Jungkook confessed.
Seokjin halted, his eyes widening in surprise. "What? How? When?"
Jungkook took a deep breath. "It was two months ago. I was working in the kitchen when I saw you walk in. You were the most beautiful person I'd ever seen. I watched you order your cappuccino and then you left. I was smitten.
Later, I learned your name from your credit card receipts. I wanted to talk to you, but then I saw you with another man. I was heartbroken, but I was also happy to see you happy. I buried my feelings.
When you finally noticed me, I was overjoyed, but I was also cautious. I didn't want to get hurt again. I'm so sorry for being rude. Please forgive me. I really like you, Seokjin."
