Horror Dreams - The Games begin!

The lights went out, and darkness spread all around the room. What was once white was instantly black. Everyone was panicking, since the room was dark and we couldn't see anything. One by one, I could hear a faint whoosh and one less voice to hear. Soon I was the last one, and I could hear the whoosh, and I was whisked through something cold, and I landed on the ground with a thump. My backpack was on my back, with all items and some food that I had packed the night before. My ears perked up running noises. I gathered everything up, and as I was rummaging around the ground for my torch, I felt something like glasses. I picked them up and tried them on. The lenses on the glasses were weird, and my eyes lost focus, but after a few seconds my eyes adjusted to the strange green light, and I realized that they were night-vision glasses. Suddenly I could see blue lights all around me, some saying that I needed to kill a living being before a time limit. It was a practice scenario! I was panicking and scared. I had to kill something? I read the blue light again. It was hard to see because it looked like holograms, but I could see a search button. Hesitantly, I reached up to the button, and I could type! A keyboard popped up, and on the top of the search button, it said that I had to put in a username. I didn't want to go for a funny nickname, so I put in 서창빈. There. The loading took a while, so as it was loading the data, I moved around, thinking of how to kill a living being. Then it occurred to me that anything could be a living being. Just then, there was an ant that was scurrying by. I stepped on it, and the blue light for the practice scenario disappeared, and I had earned 250 coins. Each time I stepped on an insect, I would earn 250 coins. Soon, I had about 2,750 coins. I thought that was a lot of coins, but I wasn't sure what they were for. (I just saw that there was a webtoon similar to this book. I promise that its not related, guys. But the webtoon's called omniscient reader) I moved on, the steps echoing. I wasn't sure where I was. Where was I? Where were the other 7 people? These questions kept scrambling back into my head. Just then, I could hear sudden, quick and steady footsteps. Then something dinged, like an alarm, and I whirled back to the blue hologram. It was giving me options for my role! 

Kill - Kill the person

What did I have to choose? 

The person faltered to a stop, and went away. Finally, the steps of that person was moving the other direction. Maybe they had seen me and moved away! The options disappeared, but I could feel something trying to get out of me. Was it a power? My body was soon glowing, and the blue light expanded, giving me the option of 5 powers to choose from.

First - The King of the Night (Rare) Lvl 4

Second - The Knight of Dreams (Rare) Lvl 2

Third - Mellow Dreams (Rare) Lvl 3

Fourth - Mountain crusher (Stigma - Legendary) Lvl 1

Fifth - Demon Curse (Rare) Lvl 2

These were awesome names for powers, but I didn't know what to choose. Looking at their names, I could guess what they did. The King of the Night sounded alright, and it was on Lvl 4, so I decided to go with that. The selected power started to disappear, and suddenly I could feel power surging through my body tingling with energy. I began to take a form with a cloak, bow and arrows, and a cloak to shield me from the other players. I began to wonder what the other 7 had chosen as their power. No need for thinking, I decided to act by practising with my arrows. The target was the board. Thwack! Miss. Miss. Miss. Finally! I got one right in the centre. I could have done more, but I felt sleepy and drifted off to sleep, staying in my cloak to keep me warm.
