Alexsis, without thinking went into the cave, alone. She walked through the cave for a while occasionally seeing a rat, or two, scurry pass but other than that and some narrow parts of the cave, nothing really seemed off, until Alexsis heard something behind her, she quickly turned her head but nothing was there, 'damn paranoia' Alexsis thought as she kept walking. She eventually made it to a spot where she needed to climb, Alexsis jumped and grabbed onto the ledge and pulled herself onto the ledge and stood back up. She observed the area, and found a huge opening with a plane crashed in the middle submerged by water.
She walked over to the steep incline and looked down, it was a pretty long fall.
Without hesitation she took a deep breath and jumped, she slid down the incline and hit a bump and fell face first onto the ground. She got up and checked for blood or anything that would indicate injury, luckily there was nothing except a few bruises. She kept walking and found a little tunnel. Alexsis crouched down and crawled through the tunnel and ended up in a completely different area.
She was in a strange place with a wooden structure on the side and a huge lake in the middle, like the room before. Alexsis looked around the area for a bit before deciding to climb a ladder she saw on the wooden structure. As she climbed a step of the ladder gave away as she stepped on it, causing her to lose her footing just for a moment before regaining balance and before she knew it she was in a room similar to a watch tower with a radio on a table. Alexsis rushed over to it trying to make it work to call for help but noticed the wire that should connect it to something was broken. She groaned and went back to searching the room.
Alexsis found a walkie talkie which was broken, "Figures" Alexsis mumbled. Just then a floorboard creaked and crumbled sending alexsis's foot into a hole, wood stabbed her foot making her bleed as she tried to figure out what to do. Then another floorboard collapsed trapping her other foot, which caused a chain reaction and eventually Alexsis fell through the floor.
The others pov
Rose was huddled next to William as he explained what had happened. "So Alexsis just left?" Rose asked.
"Yeah." William replied.
Rose just sighed and resumed looking for Sarah. Mike was searching by the river and noticed blood on a rock. "Guys!" Mike called. The others quickly rushed over there and saw the same thing he saw. "Is it Sarah's?" William asked even though he knew the others didn't have an answer.
"It could be, impossible to tell though." Jason said. Then they heard gunshots.
Alexsis POV
'Crap! Crap! Crap!' Alexsis thought as she saw the hole she fell through get further and further away from her, she saw a piece of wood in the wall and grabbed onto it trying to break her fall. The wood simply just broke sending Alexsis further down the hole and she landed, on a piece of metal sticking out of the ground. The metal stabbed her in the side but luckily she was still alive and she stood up, saw the object lodged into her side and without thinking pulled it out. Blood oozed out of the injury as Alexsis realized how badly she just screwed up, but she noticed that there was a hallway in front of her, and with no other choice walked down the hall. She saw a wall at the end, she felt her stomach drop as she realized that she was stuck here and would eventually die of blood loss, but she also noticed a small gap in between a few stones that made up the wall and she saw, no, it couldn't be, Sarah. Alexsis leaned closer to see if she was seeing things correctly when she just fell through the wall like the damn kool-aid man. A woman and Sarah stared at her like she was crazy, "Alexsis?" Sarah muttered before Alexsis passed out from the blood-loss.
