introduction

in kyoto japan, a young boy was born into house Akagami. the parents named the young boy Ren which meant lotus. and so they nicknamed him Lotus. he was born on October 11th 1603. he was said to have eyes as bright as the ocean and hair as red as the red spider lilies. his mother named Takani loved how their son looked but the father Musashi hated how he looked. but in the end they kept him alive and was taught in the ways of samurai. ren had four elder brothers before him named Kaito, Arata, Isamu, and Ieyasu. most of his elder brother's hated him expect for Kaito who looked after him well. but one day the akagami house was raided by the tokugawa's after hearing that the akagami clan was planning to take over japan. Kaito never heard of the plans unlike the other three. ren was only two weeks old when this took place and yet Kaito risked his life for his newborn brother.

Kaito grabbed ren and held him tightly under his kimono and ran to the hills nearby the estate. But the Tokugawa army kept following the young Kaito even during the dark moonlight night. But eventually Kaito managed to escape the Tokugawa army and fled to a nearby Village. Since then Ren was raised by his oldest brother Kaito.

As Ren got older He reminded Kaito of their mother before she was killed that night. By now Ren was two years old and he showed Great sign of intelligence and military skills. But Kaito thought that Ren was still too young to train and so he waited until Ren was five years old. Which was two years from now. As the two were walking around the village Ren bumped into another boy who seemed to be around his age maybe slightly older.

"I'm so sorry mister. I didn't see where I was going." Ren spoke softly to the other boy. The other boy was named Nobutada and he softly looked at the younger boy. "It's fine. It happens to the best of us. I'm Nobutada by the way. And what's your name?" Nobutada asked Ren and he took a few moments to answer him. "My name is Ren and I think we'll be good friends." Ren answered him and since that day the two were friends and Kaito was happy for Ren to finally have a friend even if it was just one.

As Nobutada was two years older than Ren. He was already training the way of the samurai and the Bushido code. While Ren was still three years old but it was coming close to his birthday which was in a week. Kaito had no money due to the amount of work he had to do and to pay for the food and weekly bills. Kaito felt guilty for not having the money to celebrate ren's birthday but Ren didn't want to celebrate because he was already grateful for what he has now.  But Nobutada on the other hand was going shop to shop looking for any kind of birthday celebration ideas. He loved the idea of making ren's birthday special and wanted to let Ren know that he cares about him very much and won't let him be alone any longer.

As Kaito was working at a nearby brothel, he noticed Nobutada walking around town with a body guard grabbing a few things and obviously buying them at the same time. Kaito Walked to Nobutada and asked him a simple question. "What are you up to young one?" Kaito asked him. Kaito turned around and he smiled at ren's older brother. "Oh hi! I'm currently trying to buy things for ren's birthday party! And I thought today would be a good day to do so." and so he walked off to continue the party shopping for Ren.

A while later

The party was in full swing but something dark was lurking in the air. Tokugawa's men were around the home in quietness. No one knew where they were or how they got in and they never will know. Kaito was in the backyard playing with nobutada and Ren as the sun was setting down.

A/N: sorry for this a but for some reason I had lost over five hundred words in this introduction and so I had to re write this. I'm deeply sorry for this and I'm also sorry if this intro now doesn't make any sense!

Tokugawa's men now thought it was the time to attack them and so they did. Kaito and other good samurai that they hired faught along with Kaito. Nobutada his Ren in a small room where only they know. But after a few hours the fight had ended and many lives were lost. Even Kaito was now gone...
