Part 1

It's been ten years since the murder of Kaito and now Ren was 14 years old and was training to be a samurai like his brother. But he still remembered that night like it was yesterday. but he would always keep it out of his mind when training with nobutada. but nobutada would notice Ren's mood changes whenever it came to the topic of his birthday and Ren would give nobutada a sour look each and every time. but nobutada wanted to see Ren smile once more even if its a sour one. one day, nobutada went to town and walked into a few shops and grabbed flowers and a few small gifts. a shop owner notices this and so they question him "buying these for someone special?" they asked nobutada, and he looked at the shop owner with a simple gaze. "yes actually for someone i love dearly to my heart and soul." he answered the shop owner and simply paid for his things and he left the shop. 

as nobutada walked back to the temple. he did feel like Ren was going to reject his gifts and walk away again like last time. but who knows, he might accept the gifts. well at least he hopes he does. when nobutada walked through the gates and looked around for ren, he couldn't help but feel sad. he couldn't find ren anywhere until he saw him by the pond feeding the koi fish that the two own. he walked closer to ren and sat down next to him. "hey, I got you something." nobutada softly spoke to ren and he handed the flowers and a small gift box to him. ren looked up at him and he would softly smile. that smile would always melt nobutada's heart each and every time. "thank you nobutada. this means a lot but I'm still sorry for what happened last time with the flowers." ren said as he thanked nobutada. nobutada was shocked when ren apologized for what happened to the flowers but he accepted the apology anyways. 

ren walked away from the pond and to a flower pot that seemed empty. he would put the flowers there and watered them nicely. but ren didn't open the gift box yet, but maybe he was waiting for the right moment which nobutada didn't mind at all. as ren sat back down next to nobutada, he opened the box to reveal a golden ring with the words "my beloved" engraved on the inside of it. ren's eyes widened at the sight of the ring and he would smile. "you got this for me? but why? I've done nothing to deserve this from you." ren spoke up softly, nobutada would smile back at Ren and would say "what do you mean? you deserve it. after all i do love you." ren couldn't help but smile at nobutada's words. those words made him feel so many things at once and a little bit of fear. "thank you really, I'll wear this all the time even when i sleep. so that i know that my love is by my side at all times." ren said as he gave nobutada a kiss on the cheek and puts the ring on his left hand and on the left hand's second finger. 

nobutada blushed at the kiss on the cheek that ren did. it was good to know that ren had felt the same way towards nobutada. but should he take this next step in their lives? or should he wait at least until they're both ready for a relationship? whatever the option was nobutada didn't want to wait for anything to come in between them. "you feel the same? i never knew because you always hid how you feel after the event on your fourth birthday." nobutada spoke to ren with a caring tone. ren sighed and he would look at nobutada in the eyes. ren's eyes would be filled with longing and love? whatever nobutada sees is something new within ren and he could feel like ren wanted to feel something like this. 

but beyond those gates of their home, villages were being raided. innocent people killed just for the sake of finding ren. they don't know something like this is going under their noses. but not for long. the tokugawa's would do anything to ensure that ren is killed so that they could "save" japan from their power and wars. but in the end it's them who are the enemy and ren would be the one to save japan from them. as the sun would start to set ren could sense some form of danger within the air. but he would shake it off for now. ren got up and went to his chambers and would sit on his bed thinking about this feeling he has. yes he and nobutada love each other but he would still feel that sense of danger in the air.

ren would take off his kimono slowly, but as he did he would stare into the night sky. thinking about how would tomorrow would be like now that he and nobutada had started dating. he hopes it would go well and nothing bad would take place but the doubt of that is still there. nobutada knocked on ren's chamber's doors and would wait for an answer. ren heard the knock and said "come in nobutada" and so nobutada walks in and would instantly stare at ren's bare chest. ren would see the blush on nobutada's face and he would smirk. "what's wrong doll? getting a good view?" ren spoke in a seductive tone. this did turn nobutada on but he didn't want ren to have the upper hand at this moment of time. "no, i was just simply looking at you and not your chest." nobutada replied to ren while trying to hide the blushing mess that he was. 

"but that's no fun is it doll? what if i wanted to see you be a blushing mess in front of me and my chest?" ren spoke up to him in that same tone as before. nobutada can feel something hard up against him. ren was now behind him, his teeth grazing upon nobutada's neck. ren was the younger one and yet he was so dominant towards nobutada. nobutada blushed even more by the action of ren's teeth grazing on his neck. he tilted his head to give ren more easy access to his neck. "your lucky i love you ren. otherwise i wouldn't allow you to do this." nobutada spoke and would stay silent. ren smirked and would kiss nobutada's neck with force. this made nobutada moan with pleasure. as ren would suck and kiss nobutada's neck leaving hickeys in their wake. nobutada would softly moan to ren. this would make ren more excited and would leave nobutada's neck and would kiss and suck on his collarbone. nobutada gasped but slowly took off his kimono too. ren picked him up and threw him onto the bed. ren started to kiss nobutada all over his body. claiming him as his own. 

nobutada never felt so weak to a man who was younger than him and yet he was. but he liked it and enjoyed it. he never thought he would feel so much just by ren kissing him and marking him as his. it felt so good but so right at the same time. once ren was done he fell on top of nobutada and fell asleep, nobutada wrapped his arms around ren's waist and drifted off to sleep covered in hickeys left by ren and ren alone. as the two slept in ren's chambers, Tokyo was under chaos. the tokugawa's clan plotting a way to kill or finish ren for once and for all. but the people were against killing ren because he had saved Tokyo a few times not only from war but also total chaos and death. but if tokugawa's knew that his people of Tokyo were going against him then they would be killed on the spot and they're sure that ren wouldn't want that. and so they would keep quiet and hopefully the tokugawa's would never find out about it.

the next morning came, the sun rays shining through ren's windows and onto his hair. nobutada was the first one to wake up and saw ren still sound asleep on his chest. he never saw ren sleep so peacefully before and so he allowed ren to stay asleep which was a good idea. as ren would sleep more the stronger urge to wake him up. nobutada wanted to wake him up so that he could shower ren in kisses before they go along for their regular duties within their home and town. but he allowed ren to keep sleeping for now until a maid notices the two and she dropped everything. "um lord ren!" she screamed loudly and that woke him up. nobutada dismissed the maid and ran his fingers through ren's hair. it was a way to calm him down from loud noises.

"shh ren. go back to sleep. it's ok, the maid got shocked by us and nothing more." nobutada spoke in a soft and caring tone and ren fell back sleep in his beloved's arms.
