day 6

The morning of Day 6 was shrouded in an unnatural mist, casting long shadows that shifted and twisted like phantoms.

Without warning, a low growling echoed through the maze, followed by the faint sounds of shuffling footsteps.

Sunghoon, Chaewon, Ni-ki, and Eunchae exchanged fearful glances, the urgency in their eyes clear. Whatever was lurking nearby wasn’t friendly.

“Run!” Sunghoon shouted, grabbing Chaewon’s hand as they sprinted forward, Ni-ki and Eunchae close behind.

They weaved through the narrow paths, the thudding footsteps of unseen creatures echoing louder and closer with each turn.

The fog thickened, obscuring their view and making it impossible to tell which direction they were headed.

Shadows darted through the mist, snarling and snapping, glimpses of dark, twisted forms emerging just long enough to terrify them before slipping back into the shadows.

“What… what are those things?” Eunchae gasped, barely keeping pace.

“No idea, but let’s not slow down to find out!” Ni-ki replied, glancing over his shoulder as a creature’s claw swiped inches from his back.

They stumbled into a clearing where a faint path marked with roses split in two directions. Sunghoon hesitated, scanning each route. “Left or right?”

“Left!” Chaewon shouted, already pulling him toward it, the others following close behind.

They tore down the path, but it only seemed to get narrower and darker, the creatures’ growls becoming more frenzied.

Suddenly, a massive stone wall loomed before them, cutting off their escape. They skidded to a stop, each heart pounding as they realized they were trapped.

“Now what?” Ni-ki muttered, breathing heavily.

But before anyone could answer, the ground beneath them began to tremble, and the wall in front of them split, revealing a hidden staircase leading downward.

Without hesitation, they dashed down the steps, the shadows of the creatures slinking back as if afraid to follow.

They reached the bottom, breathless and shaken, finally safe from the monsters above.

Around them, flickering torches cast an eerie glow over ancient carvings, each one depicting roses intertwined with haunting faces.

“Looks like we’re meant to be here,” Chaewon said, catching her breath. Sunghoon’s hand found hers again, his grip reassuring as they prepared to face whatever final test awaited them.

They saw something glowing in a distance eunchae went to it and saw a riddle it read

I appear in the dark sky, rare and strange. Once in a while, I come to play. When I rise, beware the night, for something wicked hides from sight.

"What does that mean?"
"I appear in the dark sky?"
"The stars? Comets? Or what?"
"The moon?"

Suddenly some strange noises came from the paper and when eunchae dropped it there was a thunder heard from above they all thought that it would be safe to go up so they went up

As they reached all of them decided to split up again to find more clues

"You guys go left me and sunghoon will go right"

Saying that they parted away while walking chaewon felt water drop on her hand and before she could react it started raining heavily

Chaewon's top was now clinging on her body making it a see through sunghoon looked at her and covered her with his jacket
