PiperHalliwell is in the attic of Halliwell Manor once again trying another spell tobring back her little sister Phoebe, in front of Piper is a bowl, the book ofshadows and a lit candle

Piper: Inthis night and in this hour, I call upon the ancient power, bring back mysister bring back the Power of three

Nothinghappens, she flips the pages of the book and she finds the spell to call a lostwitch

Piper: Powersof the witches rise, course unseen across the skies come to us who call younear, come to us and settle here

She grabs theingredients she needs and tosses them into the bowl and she grabs a knife, cutsher finger she then squeezes some blood into the bowl

Piper: Bloodto Blood I summon thee, blood to blood return to me

The flame onthe candle flickers but then nothing, defeated Piper hangs her head and startsto cry again but then she hears a voice

Women: Piper

Piper:Phoebe?

PrueHalliwell walks into the attic and walks over to Piper

Prue: Sweetieits 4am in the morning, what are you doing?

Piper: Trying

Prue noticesthat Piper is bleeding

Prue: Sweetieyou're bleeding

Prue grabs atissue and wraps it around Piper's bleeding finger

Piper: Idon't understand why magic can't fix this, it's not like we haven't cheateddeath before, I don't understand why this time is any different

Despite hersadness Piper smiles and allows her sister to pull her from the attic, neitherof them aware that the book has reopened and the pages have flipped to the Calla lost witch spell.

Meanwhile inSunnydale

Buffy Summersthe vampire slayer is helping an injured man hobble away from the factory, shehad just rescued him from, as he staggered alongside her, she looked back asshe heard the roof collapse and then proceeded to help the him towards thefactory's parking lot.
