Descendants: The First Proclamation

Dinner at Beast's Castle

The six teens were settling down in the rooms they would be staying in for the next couple of months. When they finished unpacking, they began to get dressed as they received a text from their parents to be ready by 5:45pm because a car was coming by to pick them up for dinner at Beast’s castle. The 6 teens wore dress clothes in the signature colors The boys wore suits and the girls wore dresses with their prince and princess sashes across their right shoulder. The girls wore a small tiara on their heads. They head outside to the car that was waiting for them, they get in and head to the castle.

Once they arrived, their parents were there to greet them at the door. The parents began fixing their children's clothes, adjusting them to their liking. A worker came and led them to the dining room where the Fairy-godmother, Adam, Belle, and Ben waited for them. Once everyone was seated, they all sat down and the 4-course dinner began.

“Thank you for agreeing to join us this evening.” Belle said, warmly

“Thank you for having us.” Mirana replied

“I hope the journey here was easy.” FG said

“Yes it was, calm seas and clear skies.” Anna said

“Thank you for the welcome party.” Rapunzel said

“It was all Ben’s idea, he wanted you to feel as welcome as possible.” Belle state

“Mom” Ben whined with embarrassment 

“Oh hush, you’ve done enough to earn praise.” Belle replied

“So, children, what classes are any of you interested in taking, any sports.” FG said, breaking the ice

“Well, I’m interested in taking Art and maybe archery.” Raquel spoke first

“I want to dance and probably join the yearbook class” Max spoke up

“If you don’t mind me asking, what sports do you have, we were only given a few examples during the tour.” Elena spoke up

“Well we have archery, baseball, basketball, badminton, cricket, chess, cycling, football, fencing, golf, horseback riding/racing.” Ben said, listing the different sports, “ There also is lacrosse, rugby, soccer, table tennis, tennis, track & field, tourney ball, volleyball, water polo, and regular polo.” he finished

“Wow, that’s a lot of sports.” Andrew said

“Well, our school is very passionate about winning so, the more sports there are, the more chances we have of winning a championship for our school.” FG said with a chuckle

“I think I might try out for fencing, rugby, polo, and water polo.” Ivan said, “As for classes, maybe Earth Science.” he added

“We’ll try out for lacrosse, and baseball.” Albert & Andrew said at the same time

“What about you, Elena, any sports that catch your eye?” Ben asked

“Well, playing sports is very difficult for me because of my powers but I would happily try out horseback riding/racing.” She replied, “I’ve brought my horse, Kyro, so might as well use him.”

“Wonderful, I have a space cleared and set up for him at the stable.” FG chimed in

Just then, Lumiere walked in, “Your Majesties, royal highnesses, ladies and gentlemen, the first course has begun, your first appetizer are deviled eggs.” he said as waiters served them, “Enjoy”, he said before leaving
