Chapter 4

Author's POV…....

Radhika after reaching home saw nobody was there in the entrance hall. But the most important thing was the time. The clock was going tick tok tick tok. She was really late.She was wet because of the sudden rain. Water dripped from her hair and clothes.College ended long ago but she found a bookstore nearby and got attracted towards the books. While reading books she forgot about the time and right now is going to her room so that no one can see her. She moved her feet slowly avoiding any noise and looked around so that she wouldn't come in front of any maid. As she was looking downstairs to check if someone was there but she didn't know her cousin brother Darsh came out of his room and noticed each and everything. His mind gave him a mischievous idea. He thought to execute this plan and did the daring task .He came and closed her mouth with one hand and changed his tone and said.

“ Ghar mein koi nahi hai ladki sab ko mar Diya hai maine hi hi ha ha ha” he said but Radhika instead of fearing the voice she first bit his hand and  kicked him on his stomach. As her back was facing Darsh she was unable to see him. Darsh crashed on the floor groaning with pain. The kick was hard and did quite a lot of damage to him.

(There is no one in our house. I've killed everyone hi hi ha ha ha)

“ Oh bhaiya app?Batana chahiye tha” she said, teasing him.

(Oh brother you? You should have said me it's you)

“ Yamraj ki sali kahinki. Tujhe dekhna chahiye tha kon hai. Hamare ghar mein kon hi ghusega bhala”
( The horrible sister in law of Yamraj. You should have seen who it was. Who will even break into our house)
he said standing up. His voice still showed his pain.

“ Aapko kisne jyada natak karne ko kaha tha. Huh”
( Who told you to do all these dramas huh)
Radhika said and entered her room. First she arranged all her books she bought. Then took a quick look at her book shelves. Which were filled with books not only books but different worlds with different characters and different stories and emotions.
After changing into her household clothes she ran towards Darsh’s room and jumped and landed in his bed. Him who was just left to be squeezed by her looked at her his eyes wide open in fear.

“ Yamraj ki sali ji suniye. Mujhe Marne ka shok nahi hai. So please mujhse duri banaye rakhna.Aur jyada natak ki to main badi ma ko bata dunga ki tu der se ghar ayi thi”
(The sister in law of Yamraj listened. I don't wanna die. So please maintain a safe distance from me. And if you do anymore dramas I will tell aunt that you came home late today)
He pleaded in front of her.

“Kya bhaiya thik hai bol do par yaad rakhna aj app aadhe raste pe college se wapas kyu aye the aur phir kahi chale gaye the woh choti ma Jan na paye”
( Oh brother. Ok you can tell mother but remember that aunt should not know how you came back home from half way from college and went somewhere) She said threatening him and then making faces at him.

“ Yamraj ki sali kahinki”
( Sister in law of Yamraj)he kept his mouth shut after that as he didn't want his mother to know about today's incident. Then something stuck to his head. And he looked at Radhika and gave a mischievous grin at her.
“Acha tujhe kaise pata ki main college nahi gaya. Iska matlab tu mujhe follow kar rahi thi. Yeh main badi maa ko zaroor bataunga.”
( Ok, how did you know I didn't go to college today? It means that you were following me. I will surely tell this to aunty)
Darsh said to Radhika but it didn't affect her a bit.
