"You alright?" Stiles asked a very drowsy Lydia.
"Suppose, I didn't die did I?" She asked, hinting her sentence with a smirk.
"Obviously not." He smiled warmly.
"Tell me, Stiles, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at school?" Lydia questioned, shifting in her hospital bed.
"Free period." He answered.
"Why are you waisting it on me? Don't you have to snoop into Theo's business, or something?" Lydia gave a small laugh, and Stiles rolled his honey brown eyes. He laid back in the hospital chair, and folded his hands.
"Ha. Ha. Laugh all you want, Lydia, but theres something not right with him." Stiles said.
"Like what?" Lydia asked, slightly furrowing her perfectly trimmed eyebrows.
"I don't know, I can just fell it." Stiles said.
"Last time I checked, you were just human." Lydia smirked.
"I am, but I feel like a Banshee around him." Stiles nodded.
"Aren't Banshees usually females? And don't they usually predict death?"
"In some rare cases, Banshees can be male." Stiles informed, ignoring the last part with a grin.
"How do you know?" She questioned, fixing the pillows to a more comfortable position.
"I did research on Banshee's." Stiles smiled awkwardly.
"What? When?"
Stiles cleared his throat, and stuck out his neck. "When you told us you were a Banshee. I did all the research I could. Y'know, just incase...something went...wrong?" He said in a question.
"Like what?" Lydia asked. "What could go wrong?"
"I don't know. Thats why I did research." He leaned his head against the chair, but kept his eyes on Lydia.
"You're a dork on research, do you know that?" Lydia smiled, and for a second Stiles got lost in it. Her perfect white teeth, and glossed plump lips. And even though her strawberry blonde hair was messy, and wavy, and she had on no makeup, he still thought she looked beautiful.
"Yeah," He said lightly with a bright face. "I know."
"So, how are you and Malia?" His smiled slowly faded, and he looked away from Lydia for a minute before answering.
