Hope you like it!  I try my best during this busy time...

Yeonjun lay on his bed, the warmth of the blankets a stark contrast to the chills that coursed through his body. He felt utterly miserable, his head pounding like a relentless drum. The cold he caught from their recent tour was proving to be more than a mere nuisance, and a mix of sore throat and fever left him irritable and restless. Just a few steps away, in the small corner they referred to as "Sobin's Sanctuary," was none other than his roommate, Soobin. He was resisting the urge to groan as he struggled to unstick himself from the couch they'd claimed as their sick zone. He had fallen ill just days after Yeonjun, his own symptoms mirroring those of his friend. The sniffles, the sneezes, and the tiredness wrapped around him like a heavy fog, blurring the edges of his usually cheerful demeanor."Ugh, Yeonjun," Soobin croaked, his voice hoarse but laced with a touch of humor that only he could muster despite feeling like death warmed over. "I didn't know sharing a room would mean sharing a cold too."Yeonjun cracked a pained smile, though it felt like stretching his lips was an arduous task. "Yeah, well, you should've known better. It's basically a TXT thing—sharing is caring, right?"A low chuckle emerged from Soobin, which quickly turned into a cough, causing him to double over slightly. "Just our luck to get sick right before our big comeback. I can hear the other members complaining about needing to pick up our slack.""Like we'd ever let them down," Yeonjun replied, though he couldn't help the twinge of worry in his chest. Both of them were feeling less than stellar, and neither wanted to let the rest of their group down. He turned to Soobin, who was a bit better at hiding his suffering, even if he did look a little ghostly. "How are you holding up? I could make you some tea if you want.""I think I'd rather just drown in it at this point," Soobin replied, sinking deeper into the couch. "But if you make it the way you always do—with extra honey—I'll happily sip it like a king."Yeonjun barely managed to sit up, his limbs heavy as lead. "Alright, King Soobin, I'll be right back." He pushed the covers off and staggered his way to the small kitchen he shared with the other members. Each step felt like a mini mountain climb, but the thought of Soobin waiting for something comforting spurred him on.As he boiled water and prepped the tea, he couldn't shake the feeling of homesickness that always crept in when he and Soobin were unwell. He thought about how they had initially come to rely on each other more than they thought they would. Soobin would stay up late to offer comfort on particularly rough nights, and Yeonjun would repay him with spontaneous late-night snacks. When the tea was finally done, he pouring it into two mugs, carefully adding the honey. He took a deep breath, the scent of chamomile filling his senses. With a little more strength, he carried the mugs back to their sick zone."Here you go," he said as he flopped back onto the couch, handing Soobin his drink. "A royal blend fit for both a king and his trusted knight."Soobin's tired eyes lit up at the sight. "You know me so well," he said, raising the mug in a toast before taking a careful sip. "Mmm, this is perfect."Yeonjun settled in beside him, cradling his own mug. They sipped quietly, enjoying the rare moment of peace as they tried to ignore the tickles in their throats and the heaviness in their heads."Do you think the others are worried?" Soobin eventually asked, his voice softer now, almost vulnerable."Probably," Yeonjun admitted. "But they'll get over it once we're back on our feet. Besides, they can't resist the charm of our dynamic duo for too long." Soobin smiled, though it faltered a little as another round of coughing took hold of him. "You're right. I can already hear them plotting how to take care of us once we're better."They finished their tea in silence, the cozy atmosphere thick with unspoken camaraderie. Yeonjun could practically feel their spirits lifting together, buoyed by their shared experiences, even in sickness. After a moment, Soobin sighed contentedly, leaning his head against Yeonjun's shoulder."I'm glad we're in this together," he murmured, his voice muffled but sincere. "Me too," Yeonjun replied, resting his head against Soobin's as fatigue began to pull them under. "Let's sleep it off and wake up like the kings we are."That night, they nestled closely together, the warmth of their friendship warding off the chill of their ailments. In the hazy half-dreams, they found comfort in knowing they didn't have to face their battles alone. Sickness brought them low, but their bond would always lift them back up, ready to take on whatever awaited them, together.
As dawn broke, it marked not only the start of a new day but also a new determination to get better—together.
