I park in the field next to the house, but still out of view so I can go get my stuff. Ive had a secret bag in my room I case something like this happened and now I have a use for it. When I open the door no one comes down or shouts which is good and I walk up the steps to my room. It was just like I left it. I open my closet and grab the emergency backpack which was loaded with clothes and some extra money and I also stuff the picture frame of Jay and I in it making sure it's wedged between some shirts so it won't break if I drop it.

As I start walking down the steps I hear a loud bang. Like someone slamming their fists against something and immediately run back upstairs, and into my room. Neither Lachlan or my room had a a window so I couldn't escape there. The bathroom had a small one I couldn't fit through and there was only one room left. Mitch's.

I gulp at the idea since he commanded we never enter his room. I've been in there once since Mitch told me to put Lachlan in there but I was too busy thinking about Preston I never thought of taking in my surroundings. Shit.

I take the chance and run to Mitch room finding it unlocked and enter it. Red walls and black satin sheets. Damn. This room reminds me of a room you'd read about in Fifty Shades of Grey. Not that he's like that. I'm not sure actually, he might be. He's a bottom for sure. Yeah, he's dominant but he loves being pleasured. (imma stop before I get too deep and end up writing Bajanless fantasies)

No windows. Was the second thing I thought when I entered. Damn it. I open the two doors on the left wall finding his closest with... different pictures. Were these all of his mugshots? I shake it off seeing a hole in the wall behind some clothes and push them apart crawling in the hole.

I came out to the concrete room that I had grown to hate finding no Mitch. One thing that is good about this room is that it's hella close to the door and I dash out leaving the door open behind me.

By the time I reached the car I was out of breathe and put my bag in the back. "Wow that was a workout." I breathe out heavily making Preston chuckle.
"Come on you pleb. This place creeps me out." I nod and get into the driver's seat starting up the car.

Dallas, Texas. Here we come.

The car ride was shorter than it seemed maybe because we were mainly just goofing off (but I still kept my eyes on the road.) "Home sweet home." Preston says looking up at the tall building. "I live on the tenth floor." Rob nods getting his bag out of the back and also Preston's and they walk into the building smiling at each other.

Rob silently hoped that he didn't just give up his whole life for a guy who would leave him.

Sorry about how short this is omg and spoiler but the ending is kind of anti climatic conditions this book just didn't have the right background to hold as much action as Victim or Enemy will

I love the first chapter of Enemy because like a big secret is released half way through and it goes from 0 to 100 real quick xD

okay so here's the upload schedule (maybe not something might happen i mean I am getting ready to go on vacation)

Tuesday: upload last chapter of this (I'll do it when we're on the plane or during layover or something idk)

I feel like the excitement will get to me and I'll just upload the intro tomorrow but the first chapter Monday idk that'll probably happen (who knows I might do it tonight 😏)
