Jihoon tapped his pen on the notebook in his lap as he zoned out, slightly distracted. Soonyoung next to him was nodding his head to the beat that was playing from his monitor, enjoying the melody.

The younger had asked him to listen to the new beat he made for feedback. Jihoon seemed consistent about wanting Soobyoung to listen to it when they were at the gym and who was Soonyoung to reject the offer?

"I like this. The dance would be incredible" Soonyoung complimented, a smile on his face, seemingly satisfied.

He looked up to where Jihoon was sitting and noticed that the younger's attention was thrown off.

"Jihoon—"

"Have you noticed something..off? About Coups and Jeonghan hyung"

Ataken back by the sudden mention of their oldest members, Soonyoung tilted his head confused. "Off in what way?"

Jihoon shrugged, trying to make it sound casual. "Like how Seungcheol hyung has been extra...attentive toward Han hyung? He's almost like a second shadow to him nowadays. It just feels odd.."

Soonyoung seemed to agree with the observation, but he wasn't all that bothered by it. "Well, you know how Coups hyung is. It's probably because of Jeonghannie hyung's hospital visit. Cheol hyung is being protective"

Jihoon nodded, not completely convinced.

"Protective..."

Protectiveness was one thing, but...Jihoon saw the little touches and glances that lingered just a bit too long. He knew those looks, and had seen them enough in movies to recognize when someone was more than—.

Jihoon shook his head, stopping his thoughts from running wild again.

"I guess," he murmured, keeping his tone light. "Maybe I am reading into it too much."

Soonyoung chuckled, leaning back into the couch. "Don't stress over it. If something's up, they'll tell us."

Jihoon nodded, letting the topic drift away.

Later that evening, the dorm was quiet.

Seungcheol and Jeonghan were in the kitchen together, lost in their own world. The rest of the members had either gone to bed or were occupied elsewhere, leaving them with the rare gift of peace and privacy.

Jeonghan was sitting on the counter, his legs swinging back and forth gently as he watched his boyfriend was their dirty dishes. They had just finished having a midnight snack— Jeonghan's idea —and the weight of the whole day started to show.

Noticing Jeonghan's droopy eyelids, Seungcheol smiled fondly as he put back the last plate in the cupboard.

"Sleepy?" he cooed and Jeonghan's eyes opened again as he shook his head 'no' making Seungcheol laugh. "Liar"

"Let's go to bed," the older said, lacing their fingers as he helped Jeonghan get down from the counter carefully.

The younger gave a tired smile and said "Stop spoiling me" causing Seungcheol to give a smirk. "Sure, sleepy head" he replied sarcastically.

As they stepped into their shared room, the atmosphere felt cozy and familiar. Seungcheol began to change into his sleepwear. He pulled off his shirt, revealing his toned torso, and handed it to Jeonghan.

Jeonghan slipped into the oversized fabric, the shirt enveloping him like a warm cocoon, its length nearly swallowing him whole.

He smiled in satisfaction as the sleeves hung past his fingertips, hiding his slender frame. The sight brought a smile to Seungcheol's face, a mix of affection and amusement flickering in his eyes.
