Unforeseen Dawn

Her Jhumka

It's the next day morning 6.00 a.m.
Arjun is already awake.
He decides to take shower.
Shreya is too tired due to the chaos and the wedding.
She usually gets up late.
She tries opening her eyes and sees Arjun entering the washroom.
After 30 minutes Arjun comes out of the restroom he just has a towl tied around his waist.
Shreya opens her eyes and admire water dripping on his muscular abs.
When he looks at her she closes her eyes and continues sleeping.
Arjun dresses up and starts working out in his balcony.
Later he reads books and starts working on his laptop.
It's already 7.30 a.m.
In the lobby
Neelima:Aliya have this tea.
Aliya who has just woken up ,starts sipping the tea.
Aliya:For whom is the third cup of tea for?
Neelima:Obviously,it's for my new daughter in law.
Aliya:Mom ,have you decided to be gentle with that rude little girl?
Neelima gives a vicious laugh.
Thakur:Seems like you don't know very well about your Mom Aliya.
Aliya smiles.
Neelima takes the coffee cup to Arjun's room.
Neelima knocks the door.
Shreya who was sleeping wakes up.
Arjun answers the door but he keeps the door partially closed so that his mother won't be able to see Shreya laying on the bed still.
Arjun:Morning Mom.
Neelima:Here is your 🍵 and this is for my daughter in law.
Open the door,I want to see her.
Arjun:Mom, she is bathing 🛁.
Shreya wonders why he lies.
Mom :OK my dear son.
Come downstairs,breakfast is ready.
Shreya :clears her throat,Mr.Husband why did you lie to your mom?
Arjun:Don't call me that .I didn't want mom to find out that nothing has happened between us and also I don't want her  to find your laziness.
Shreya giggles :Thank you for saving me Mr.Husband.
Arjun continues working.
Shreya finally decides to get up and shower.
She enters the bathroom and arranges her own things (shampoo,conditioner,toothpaste,soap and oil etc......)
The bathroom looks luxurious.
She strips her clothes,applies soap on her body and lays down in the bath tub.
She comes out after 30 minutes.
She wrapped a towel around her body.
Arjun looks away from his laptop and gives her a side eye.
He could see her beautiful legs and sexy neckline.
But he acted as if he didn't notice.
Shreya's mindvoice:What should I wear?I don't have clothes packed.
Mom told she will send them today.
Let me check what I have gotten  along with a few things.
She opens that small suitcase.
She feels annoyed to see Sara's beautiful saree .
Why does mom have to send me this?
My mood is spoiled now.
I am always getting Sara's used things.
I am not going to wear this.
I will wear my own frock .
There is a red frock in that suitcase too.
But I don't think it will impress my In laws.
And also it will make me look childish.
But I don't know to wear Saree.
She tries wearing the Saree by seeing YouTube.
But her plan flops miserably .
Arjun sees her struggling .
Arjun:It's already 8.15 a.m ,get ready fast.
Why don't you wear some other dress?
Shreya:I don't have any other.Mom told she will send my things packed today.
Arjun comes closer and helps her wear the Saree.
Her body feels goosebumps in his touch.
Shreya:Thank you.
Arjun:I just don't want mom to come here again as it's already late.
Come let's go.
Shreya:Wait I am not ready yet.
She does her skincare quickly.
Wears her bangles and decides to wear jewels and comb her hair.
Shreya's mindvoice:I have always been dependent on my mother.
I never learned things even when I had time.
I don't know to comb my hair,cook,wear earrings etc....
I should learn to be independent.
Let me refer YouTube again.
She searches how to wear a Jhumka.
She tries to wear it.
But the stud falls to the floor.
Arjun picks it up and hands it to her.
Arjun:Don't you even know to wear a Jhumka?
Shreya:Mr.Husband,lend me a hand and help me wear it.
She winks at him.
Arjun helps her wear the Jhumka .
Shreya turns to fix the stud properly.
Her soft lift crashes into Arjun's lips accidentally.
Shreya deepens the kiss and kisses him passionately.
Arjun shocked by her bold move puts the Jhumka down.
He quicks bends down ,pick it up and helps her wear it.
He is mesmerized by the kiss.
Arjun's mindvoice:She tastes sweet.
But why would she do it?
My heart will never belong to her.
He gets up angrily.
Arjun:Never mess with me Shreya .
I have told you several times I don't consider you as my wife.
My heart always belongs to Sara .
It's a broken heart.
I am already depressed by the betrayal.

He goes downstairs.
Shreya follows him.
