Unforeseen Dawn

One side of a coin.

           Shreya and Arjun have been together for four months.
They are going out tomorrow to celebrate Shreya's success.
Shreya:Arjun,come fast.
I myself got ready but still you are not ready.
Arjun:I don't think I can drive today,my head hurts .
We can ask Martin to drive.
Shreya:Are you ok,Mr.Husband?
Drink some water.
Apply the balm.
Arjun drinks water and takes medicine
Shreya:Should I give you a massage 💆‍♂️.
Arjun:No,that's ok.
Aliya is already in the car.
She sits in the front seat.
Arjun and Shreya sit together in the back seat.
Shreya:Martin,play some relaxing songs.
Aliya:Play ,Yaar Azhaipadu song first.
Shreya:I love it too.

Shreya's mindvoice:Sara my sister.

Arjun's mindvoice:I know it's not Grace but Sara.

He closes his eyes and thinks of the moments he spent together with Sara .
Seven months ago.
Arjun is at work.
He receives a text from an unknown number.
At first he didn't care much.
But when he notices the profile picture,he realizes it's Saranya.
Sara:Hello,this is Saranya.
Arjun replies:Hey ,what's up?
Saranya:I was making
Pancakes 🥞 for my sissy.
What's your favorite food?
Arjun:Curd rice .
Saranya:I expected something heavier.
Arjun:I like curd rice made by my late Patti(grandma).
Saranya:I love my grandparents a lot.
I always visit them every weekend whenever I am in Ooty.
Arjun:Ooty is a beautiful place.
Relaxing,cool and filled with nature.
Why would you leave such a place and go to Mumbai for work?
For money?
Saranya:For experience,money is not very important to me.
But I love my friends and colleagues a lot.
I love having fun with them.
I am going to resign my job soon and start taking care of my grandpa's farm and live along with them.
Arjun:But incase if we get married,you would have to move to Bangalore.
Will that be OK for you ?
Sara:Arjun,6 months Ooty,6 months Bangalore.
Arjun sends a smiley emoji.
Sara:Usually people come to Ooty for honeymoon.
But we can live here and have peace.
It's a kind of blissful experience .
Then we could stay in Bangalore.
It will be a different experience.
Life is all about traveling.
Arjun:I love traveling.
I have gone to 23 states in India,soon I will travel to the other states too for work.
Saranya:Will you take me there in the future?
What's your favorite place or state?
Arjun:Definitely,like Kashmir.
While I was young I had a dream of reaching the top of Mt.Everest.
But now I don't have time for it.
Saranya:We will definitely go there together ❤ and make a lot of snowmen there.
Arjun:You are too innocent,it's not an easy task to go there and I am not sure if you could make snowmen there.

Saranya:OH ok .
Sends a sad expression.
Arjun's mindvoice:She is so cute.
At the beach,
They play with the waves.
Arjun:Beaches help me soothe my mood.
Sara sings Yaar Azhaipadu song.
Arjun calmly listens to it.
Sara:Arjun,Arjun will you get me pani puri and corn from the stall?
Arjun:Sure,do you want ice-cream too?
Sara:Yes .Hooray.
Arjun:Have.
Sara:I will pay half of the amount later.

Sara and Arjun eat.
Sara with corn in her mouth says in a funny voice:I love Street foods a lot .
Sweet corn is my favorite.
Arjun:I love kulfi a lot.
When Arjun eats some cream from the vanilla flavored kulfi gets sticked in his mouth.
Sara wipes it with her dupatta(shawl).
Arjun:Thank you,but your shawl got dirty.
Sara:That's ok.
I like to get dirty while helping others.
Arjun laughs at her.
Sara with a angry expression
Sara:Aju why are you laughing?
Arjun:You are very bad at cracking jokes.
Sorry I hope I didn't offend you.
Sara:No,no I never get offended.
I agree,where is my award for the worst joke cracker.
Arjun gets a pair of Jhumka from the street stall and gives it to her.This is your award.
Saranya:It's so beautiful.
It's the first gift you have given me I will always keep it safe.

A stray dog comes near them and shows affection by licking their footwear.
Sara shares the snacks with it.
And caresses the dog.
Arjun admires her.
Do you have pets she asks to Arjun?
Arjun:I have always wanted to but I never got one.
What about you?
Saranya:I have a cat named Rose and five dogs named Miro,Siro,Lallu ,Fur and Boney.
Arjun:I didn't see it in your house.
Saranya:They are with me in Mumbai,I will bring them to your house after our marriage.
We can play with them together.
She giggles.
Arjun:I will be busy playing with you.
He winks.
Saranya:I know.
Can we go back in a Train?
Arjun:I love train rides,I always used to go in train to meet Patti(grandma)
I miss her a lot .
Saranya :She is always there with you.
Looking after you.
She wants you to be happy.
She touches his mouth and makes him smile.
Arjun smiles.
Saranya:I missed the chance to meet your lovely Patti (grandma).
In the train
They sit in a seat together.
Saranya sits in the window.
A old man around 65 years comes near and argues.
Old man:Excuse me can you give me the window seat.
It will help me incase if I get vomiting sensation.
Arjun:But we booked for it.
Old man starts cursing them and behaves inappropriately .
Sara leaves the seat.
Sara:It's ok Aju,take the seat Thatha(grandpa).
Have a good journey.
She behaves kind and polite.
Arjun asks her:Why did you give up?
Sometimes we have to argue for our own rights.
He didn't even behave politely.
Sara:According to me,even if others are not good to me,I will always be polite and kind with others.
At the mall,
Arjun:What's your favorite color Sara?
Sara:It's green Aju.
What about you?
Arjun:Black is my favorite color.
What kind of clothes do you like to wear?
Sara:Sarees and Kurtis are my favorite.
Sara comes out of the dressing room in a beautiful saree.
Do I look beautiful?
Arjun:You are stunning.
Saranya:Now let's shop for you.
Arjun:Let's take the escalators.
Saranya:I might sound childish but I am quite scared of escalators.
When my little sissy was young her frock got struck in it and after a hard struggle we rescued her safely.
Arjun:Seems like you love your sister a lot .
Sara:Yes so much but she loves to fight with me.
Sara smiles.
Arjun:I will help you overcome your fear.

The escalator starts moving.
She moves close to Arjun.
Sara:Arjun,I love you.
Arjun is shocked.
Arjun:I didn't expect you to propose to me on an escalator .
Both laugh.
At the temple
Saranya walks there in a beautiful Green Saree.
She lights lamps in the temple.
And serves food to people who have come to Temple.
She also gives food and money to the beggars.
There is a poor little girl about 5 years old.
Saranya lifts her and caresses her.
Saranya:OH dear you look so cute.
Aju come let's take a selfie.
How many kids do you want ?
Arjun:2 or 3.
What about you?
Saranya:10 .
Arjun;That's easy to tell but it will be tough for you to give birth to 10 babies.
Saranya:No no,2 biological children and we will adopt eight more children ok?
Arjun:Sure,dear.
Whatever you want.
Shreya:Mr.Husband,wake up we have come to the mall.
Arjun wakes up from his nap.
Arjun misses Sara.
