The rumors were right I was switched at birth.

If you were switched at birth what would you do?. Some people would say run away so that's exactly what I did.

I creeped to my parent's room I found them sound asleep to my luck.

I grabbed my things still thinking about what the doctor's said last night after the DNA test.

"mrs. And mr. Clarke we are to inform you that your child was switched at birth" my mom raised an eyebrow "your saying this child isn't my daughter?" mom said with her tone going up.

"yes we are we have located her real parent's they are at virginia" he said in a calm but scary voice.

"absurd!" my dad yelled "sir please calm down or we will force you to leave" he calmed down a little before my mom yelled"where is my daughter then!" the doctor said" she is in a adoptive home for her parents did not want her.

That made me flinch "what if I didn't make a good impression?" I thought that in my head.

"her biological parents would like to meet her as soon as possible" the doctor said he said gesturing towards me "they have also provided you first class tickets to Virginia" he said ignoring the sadness on my face.

I wish I could of dealt with that. But I didn't.



Lily's p.o.v

"LILY!" the care taker yelled "yes mrs.applebaum" I said as I ran down the stairs "why did you forget to do your chore's!" she yelled "it wasn't my turn to do the dishes" I said.

But instead of talking it over I felt a pain in my left cheek, that woman just slapped me! I wanted to say"honey you did not just do that 'cause any second now I can SLAP that smirk off your face also.

But I didn't I just hung my head as she walked out the door and up walked Angelica, the meanest girl here "I hope you get your DNA test positive because I just wan't to not live with you!".

Trust me that girl is evil in lipgloss and hair extensions. " Whatever" I sighed I wanted to say something else but it had too many ugly words. Or "colorful" I liked to call it.

"ding dong" the doorbell rang she looked through the pile.

Bills,bills,bills,DNA test! "yes!" she thought to herself.

She couldn't go to the doctor because it cost to much so it came in the mail funny thing is mrs.applebaum would go for Angelica or as mrs.applebaum called her, angel.

The paper wrote "you have been switched at birth your real, biological parent's are at Florida".

My mouth gaped at that at the bottom a airline ticket was there paper clipped to the bottom.

I grabbed it I was flying 2nd class.

"not bad" I thought to myself then it struck me "what if they don't like me and send me back here.?"

I need to make a good first impression but first I need to get out of this prison or orphanage.

"mrs.applebaum" I said to her "what?!" she yelled at me in a annoyed tone.

"well this form says that I was switched at birth and it provided me plane tickets to go see my parents, can I go?"I asked.

"sure I don't want to see your ugly face no more, ever since you walked through that door". She said rudely

I went downstairs to pack that's right my rooms the Ickey one downstairs.

I grabbed 2 headbands,4 T-shirts,2 pairs of pants etc........

I opened the door not thinking of what an adventure it is.



Haley's p.o.v

I went out the door but to my friends house for advice.

I didn't even try knocking on the door I had a spare key. That's right she gave me a key to her house, I didn't think she would be awake but I opened the door finding her kissing her boyfriend in the lips.

"my innocent eyes!" I yelled jokingly she quickly turned away and turned the color of a ripe tomato

"sup Haley" Kyle said to me I turned to smile at him then I looked at Gwen my friend "what do you wan't!" she yelled at me "thanks for the sunshine" I muttered"sorry" she said giving me a pout"s'all okay" I told her.

"can I talk to you in private" I said to her"sure" she said we went to her bedroom and closed the door.

"what about?" she said"well you know thatDNA test" i paused and nodded "well it said I was switched at birth and I couldn't take the news so I decided to run away" I said"well instead of running away why don't you just go and meet them" she said obviously confused"well they gave me first class ticked but they gave away their daughter witch is actually mom and dad's daughter to the orphanage."

"wow" she muttered "I know right?" i said"

"I got it!" she proclaimed"what?" I said "well why don't you go but instead of meeting them just go get a job and apartment there?" she said

"I don't know?" I think i'm to young to get a job "for goodness sake's you are 18!" she yelled.

"time to grow up from the tricycle and get a car!" she yelled I giggled "well I'm going to leave you and Kyle alone and keep it under PG Kay?".

She turned red as I walked through her bedroom and out the door"promise to keep in touch?" I said to her "promise" she said.

I got out and looked at my house just across the street from gwen's"goodbye" I said and let misery drag myself to the airport.
