CHAPTER 2

The rain started falling... The exact senerio that occurred 13 years ago when Nidhi was 12 . When she got Adopted by the Oberoi family. Nidhi is someone special.. So special that someone wants to take her life. To take her life and destroy the truth.

Nidhi was sitting in the park.. Feeling left out because she was the only one from her circle who was not adopted yet. Nidhi was a bright, cheerful girl but she wanted a family. Nidhi was looking around when she saw the head of the orphan come with a couple. " Here she is, Nidhi.. Your child from now " Said the orphan head. Mr and Mrs Oberoi saw Nidhi and smiled ... A satisfied smile because they found what they wanted after  6 years. Mrs Oberoi smiled brightly and said " Your name is Nidhi? Well Nidhi Oberoi sounds perfect.. Right honey? " She asked her husband Mr Oberoi who was smiling from the beginning " Exactly! Our Nidhi will go to the best school in the city and she will be our apple of eye " Mr Oberoi said
"Well Nidhi... Are you happy to a part of Oberoi family? " The head of the orphan asked Nidhi..
Nidhi stayed silent.. Something.. Something really horrible feeling ruled her heart during that time.. But she had no option.. She had to be a part of Oberoi family to fulfill her dreams. "Yes I am very happy to be a part of Oberoi family " She said faking her smile.. Why did she felt like this.. It was like something was stopping her.. But why? " Shall we start the documentation? " Mr Oberoi asked the head of the orphan. " Sure sir let's go... Nidhi.. Come beta let's go and fill your documents. " The head of the orphan said. After a few moments Nidhi was finally the daughter of the Oberoi family. They went to their house and gave Nidhi a tour of their house. " Nidhi.. See this is your room.. " Mrs Oberoi said pointing towards a room which had a queen size bed with a study table and few painting.. " Do you want to decorate it? " Mr Oberoi asked.. " We can do a makeover for your room.. Bring you new clothes.. And we have to buy you book too.. Are you excited? " Mr Oberoi asked being enthusiastic.. Nidhi smiled " Yes I am very excited " Nidhi replied.. " That is great then.. Let's have lunch and then we can go for shopping "

(After 1 hour)
The Oberoi family went to a mall to buy things and it was first time of Nidhi to visit such places... She didn't wanted to embarress her new parents so she bought everything that was suggested by her new parents.

(After a few days)
It was finally the day for Nidhi to go to a private school... She was nervous but she had confidence. " Nidhi beta.. Ready for the first day? " Mrs Oberoi asked nidhi while packing her bags
" Yes mamma I am ready " Said Nidhi
" If anyone tries to bully you.. You will inform the teacher ok? " Mr Oberoi said quite strictly. "Yes papa I will do that " Nidhi said " Let's go then "
