In the lab of Dr. William James, the other children were coming into their own. They had received their gifts from Dr. James, developing telekinesis. Tom and Clara, however, were distracted from their abilities, worried about Sol, who had yet to awaken.

Milo, Kai, Finn, Remy, Nova, Daphne, Sienna, and Tessa were practicing their new powers. Under Dr. James’s watchful eye, they tried to move objects with their minds. Despite their progress, Dr. James wasn't satisfied. He sighed in frustration, his eyes narrowing.

"Why aren't you happy?" Dr. Swythe asked, noticing his displeasure.

"They're not powerful enough," he replied, shaking his head.

Dr. Swythe scolded him, pointing out Max, a 19-year-old who was excelling. "Look at Max. He's moving things so easily."

Dr. James glanced at Max, who was deftly lifting objects with his mind, but he didn't stay to watch. Instead, he walked away, frustration etched on his face.

Meanwhile, outside Evercrest, Peter and Penelope were at the grocery store, stocking up on supplies. They knew they might not be able to go out again for a while. After loading up the car, they noticed people running and screaming. Turning, they saw monsters approaching.

Peter and Penelope rushed to the car, grabbing their shotguns. They fired at the monsters, the shots slowing but not stopping the creatures. Panicking, they jumped back into the car and sped home, their hearts pounding.

In the lab, Dr. James called for an exercise. "Let's see who can lift their cylindrical machine," he announced. The children were shocked but determined. One by one, they attempted to lift the heavy machines. When Max's turn came, he struggled at first, but then he gathered all his strength and managed to lift the machine slightly. The other kids applauded, but Dr. James still wasn't satisfied.

"Good job, everyone," Dr. Swythe said, trying to encourage the children.

Meanwhile, Sol remained in the machine, her mind still recovering. She delved deeper into her memories, anger building toward Dr. James, her father. She knew she had to wake up, but first, she had one last challenge to face: the monster she had failed to defeat five years ago.

In her mind, Sol stood before the monstrous creature, gathering all her anger and strength. She extended her right hand, unleashing a powerful shot at the beast. She screamed, pouring all her energy into the attack. The monster writhed in pain, finally succumbing and dying.

Back in the lab, the walls began to crack under the force of Sol's power. "It's happening now," Dr. Swythe said, eyes wide with realization.

Dr. James could feel the energy emanating from Sol, stronger than ever. He knew that this was the moment of her true awakening. Sol’s power was immense, far greater than he had anticipated. The lab trembled as her energy surged, signaling the birth of a force that could change everything.

As the lab cracked and trembled, the children watched in awe and fear. Dr. James and Dr. Swythe braced themselves for what was to come. Sol was finally waking up, and with her, a power that might be their only hope against the impending doom outside.

Sol’s eyes snapped open, glowing with an unearthly light. She had remembered everything, and now, she was ready to face whatever lay ahead.
