Dir thrashed his right leg, trying to shake off the robot that had its' strong arms wrapped around it, but so far, only ending up fruitless. Clancy could kill it off, if he could, but he was too far in front, and the robot too far in back, so the idea itself is pointless."Kick its' arms off!!" Clancy yelled from in front of him instead. Dir, however, suddenly calms down, and relaxes his leg, which enables the robot to now crawl towards him. "Dir!" Clancy yelled. "It's not the arms I need to kick off.." Dir whispered, as the robot began to come closer, probably close enough for its' arms to come in close proximity with its' prey. Before it could even try and snake a hit or even scratch on Dir, the said man-robot, pulled his free leg back, and thrusted his heel deep inside the base of the robot's head as hard as he could.

It whirred and twitched in place for a while, a small cry of pain escaping its' metal and plastic throat. Sighing morosely, Dir snatched his leg off from the robot's now slipping grip, and bringing it up, successfully kicks off the entire robot off of his body. "Hah.. Brilliant.." Clancy breathed, facing forward again, and beginning to crawl again. Dir, quickly recovering from the minor shock and hint of adrenaline from nearly getting killed, faces front as well, and continues to follow Clancy. "Here." Clancy announced, finally reaching the end of their vent-like path. Clancy quickly slipped through the exit, with Dir fast behind. They both land safely on the floor. Upon standing, however, the two man-robots' once again stoic and calm face, reverts to shock and bewilderment.

There, in the middle of the large room they were in, was an even larger, spherical-shaped, power engine. There were long, fat, metal pipes, connected  to the engine, and extending further and further to the walls and the shafts from high above the room, delivering its' energy and data throughout the entire underground. Similar to a heart when pumping blood throughout a human's body. The engine was buzzing and whirring loudly, almost pulsing, as some sort of sensation after realizing that its security was being invaded by two half-human, half-robots. "This is it.." Clancy said, finally recovering from his shock, and managing to take a step forward. Dir suppressed the urge to gasp, and instead began to analyze the engine. Millions and millions of data and information regarding the large machine began to fill his system, making him give out a small grunt.. "Clancy, this machine seems to be too advanced and highly upgraded.. Are you sure you're going to override this?" Dir asked, clearly troubled and dismayed.

Clancy continued to walk to the overkill excuse of a machine, and stood looking up at it'. "Yes." Clancy replied simply, not even taking a moment to look back. "Clancy! It could kill you!" Dir pointed out. His companion, though, only began to extend his metal wires toward the machine, making it his way of ignoring Dir's statement. It was true that their kind of robots, was higher than the normal-class ones, Dir knew that much. But that doesn't mean that they were immortals. They could still die if an opportunity presents itself. And this was exactly that."If it does..." Clancy took in a deep breath, as the ends of the wires began to connect themselves to the machine. "Then you will have to destroy it by force.." Clancy said quietly. Dir could only look on at Clancy in disbelief,  but seeing his friend, companion, and leader's determination to do what must be done, no longer says anything else. Not wasting another moment, Clancy closes his eyes, and begins to override the entire machine's system.

---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---

Einz lunges at Pyxl, arm extended for a punch towards his face, but Pyxl, quick as ever, easily dodges it, and spins, hurtling the tentacles behind his back to fly everywhere. Einz, luckily manages to duck out of harm's way, and jumps a few good feet back. Despite the best efforts he gave on evading the flesh-shredding attack Pyxl gave him, Einz noticed that his body still sustained a few cuts, with shallow and deep ones here and there. Their fight had been going on like that for a while now, with Einz attacking, and Pyxl moving out of the way, and by sheer irony, managing to injure Einz in the process. The fight has only begun, and Einz was already shedding, whatever kind of liquid it was that robot's had as blood, while Pyxl had not even a bruise on him. Exhaling sharply, Einz pounced on Pyxl again with a small cry, this time attempting to knee him at the gut.
