It's been around a month since Y/N moved in, and things are looking quite good. He managed to secure an important task within the bar as the bookkeeper. Kevin, of course, fully trusts him. V, on the other hand, needs a bit more convincing, but after nights working together behind the bar, she has come to appreciate Y/N's help.

It's another night for them to work together. The bar is quite full, with tons of single girls enjoying a good night, surprising the regulars.

"Since when do girls think they're safe here?" Tommy, one of the regulars, asks.

"They must have brain damage." Y/N concludes, standing with him and Kermit.

They continue to observe the women, all giggling happily as they drink.

"You sure they're legal age?" Kermit asks.

"They're 18. I checked." Y/N assures him.

Tommy looks back at him. "You know the drinking age in America is 21, right?"

Y/N remains quiet, not wanting to admit he's wrong. "This country is weird."

"Welcome to America." Kermit raises his glass.

V leaves the back room, looking a bit startled. She quickly walks over to Y/N. "Kev just called. Amy is sick, and he claims it's really bad, even though she just has a cold. Still, he begged me to come home." She hands over the keys to Y/N. "I trust you with these. Lock every door, don't forget."

"Will do." Y/N responds, putting the keys in his pocket.

V walks away and heads to the exit. Before she can open the door, Lip enters the bar.

"Hey, V."

"Hey." V merely passes by him and leaves the bar.

Lip looks around, quickly noticing Y/N. He gives him a nod, and Y/N nods back. The blonde sits down at the edge of the bar, and Y/N walks over to him.

"You doing alright?"

"I came here for a reason." Lip says simply. "Just give me some beer."

Y/N grabs a glass and pours some beer from the tap. "Money problems?"

"More like life problems." Lip says tiredly.

"I know that feeling." Y/N hands the glass to Lip.

Lip takes a sip. As he does, he hears the girls at a booth laughing. He looks over, finding it strange they'd come to a sketchy place like this. "Since when do girls come here?"

"Not sure. I think they're either stupid or drunk before they get here—maybe both."

Lip hums, checking the girls out as he drinks his beer. "Think they're single?"

"How should I know?" Y/N responds bluntly, his usual tone. "Looking for a girlfriend or a slut?"

"Slut." Lip answers, eyeing the women lustfully. He stands up. Before leaving, he looks back at Y/N. "Talk to ya later."

For the rest of the night, Y/N continues his work, mostly chatting with Tommy and Kermit. Sometimes, though, he's curious about how Lip is doing. In the background, he sees Lip getting along well with the girls, who seem intrigued by him. As the night goes on, Lip gets drunker and drunker. Eventually, it's time to close the bar. Everyone else has already left, all except Lip and his five lady friends.

Y/N walks over to the booth, where he sees Lip hugging two of the girls on either side, laughing happily. "We're closing."

"Oh..." Lip doesn't seem to fully grasp what's happening. "How... disappointing."
