"Hold me while I'm Dreaming" Tsumugi x Maki Oneshots!

Halloween Special!

I seriously forgot it was halloween, wow.

This is kinda rushed and short, but I hope its enjoyable enough!

Tsumugi is also a kind of a clothing designer/sewer than only a cosplay-maker, I guess??

October, the arrival of the crunchy and falling red-toned leaves underfoot, cozy-sweaters perfect for warding off the chill in the air. The scent of pumpkins wafts through neighborhoods, mingling with the aroma of warm chocolate drinks. It's a time for coffee dates and leisurely walks in the rain, all wrapped in the rich colors of fall!

Of course, not to forget, the bubbling excitement of those who anxiously wait for the end of the month, which brings Halloween together with festivities, fun costumes, spooky movies marathons and trick-or-treating.

Many friends and couples delight in coordinating their outfits, from matching color schemes to detailed makeup, or even choosing playful themes like iconic characters or whimsical and daily objects, such as ketchup and mustard bottles.

That's the case of people as such Tsumugi and Maki- well, it was supposed to be, the two girls were having a lovers' quarrel about who they should dress up as for the trick-or-treating time.

"Nobody's recognize that, Mugi! Who are they again, "Rieka" and "Suzuki"?" Maki questioned with a bewildered expression on her face.

"It's "Reika" and "Miyuki", Maki! And what's the funny thing about a what, ghostface?! That's so lame and basic!!" Tsumugi spew right back, exasperated with her girlfriend's response.

Both stopped to stare at each other as a soft knock echoed through the room. Maki took the lead, moving toward the door to see who was there.

When she opened it, she found Shuichi and Kaede standing before her—a striking duo. Shuichi, the vampire, had visible fangs glinting in the light, while Kaede, the distressed damsel, sported a fake bite mark on her neck, adding to the theatrical flair of their appearance.

"Hello!! Are you guys making your costumes?!? Ohh, I want to see themmm!! I bet Tsumugi is sewing up something amazing!!" Kaede exclamed quickly, leaving Shuichi to just nod and wave a hand at both of them.

Tsumugi sighed at Kaede's exclamation, while Maki slightly rolled her eyes and went to talk to Shuichi. Kaede looked worried at Tsumugi, grabbing her arm and dragging her a little far from the quiet duo.

"Is...everything okay, Shirogane?" Kaede hesitantly asked, scared that both girls were on horrible terms.

"It's..fine, just a stupid disagreement about who should we be for trick-or-treat, I guess..."- Tsumugi stammered. "We really can't think of anything in common! I don't know what to do!" She confessed to Kaede, who placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder and smiled sympathetically.

"You'll get through it! You're like, the most creative girl I know when it's about clothing!! Maybe Ruby and Sapphire?? They're cute!" Kaede chirped, her suggestion sparking a giggle from Tsumugi as she began to ponder the idea.

As with Maki and Shuichi, the topic was also the same.

"I'm actually not even in the mood for trick-or-treating this year...I wanted to suggest a movie night or something but I'm scared I'll upset her.." Maki mumbled, glancing at Shuichi's cape -'Nice costume, by the way.'- She stated.

"Oh, thanks! As for that, well, maybe you should tell her that, after all..she's still your girlfriend and there's still the other festivals you both can enjoy together..." Shuichi suggested, his words sparking a thought or two in Maki's mind, as indicated by her dazed expression.

"I could say you're right...also, thinking about it, watching movies could even give us ideas of costumes for the other parties.." Maki said, smiling at her conclusion as she quickly shifted the subject. -'How are the others, by the way? I heard Kirumi's busy doing something for us lately.'

"That she is...she's organizing a party for this week, Tenko begged to help her, so they're both working on that together now," Shuichi replied with a weary laugh. "Angie and Himiko are off somewhere, both dressed as minions—it's really funny, you should see it!"

Maki smiled in amusement, not surprised by the situations; she could easily picture it in her mind—it wasn't hard, after all.

"Of course they are... Well, thanks for the advice. What did you and Kaede come here for, though?" Maki asked directly, hoping she didn't sound mean or rude.

"We were just passing by, and Kaede insisted on seeing you two. You know her... she also wanted to invite you to Kirumi's party that I mentioned before, but looking at her and Tsumugi, she probably forgot about that—" Shuichi said with a smile, glancing at the blonde girl, who indeed seemed not to have mentioned anything about any party or festival to Tsumugi.

"We should get going, by the way. Hope to see you at Kirumi's! Have a nice Halloween!" he declared, giving a light pat on Maki's shoulder. "And I hope you both can resolve this nicely; you always do..." he added, heading toward Kaede.

As they approached the door, Kaede turned back to tighly hug both girls goodbye before stepping out with Shuichi, who also hugged them but more quickly and softer.

As the vampire-damsel couple walked by the street and the door is closed, both girls return to staring at eachother; non-spoken words fluctuating between them.

"Hey, um...maybe we should..spend the night together?" Tsumugi mumbled uncertainly, she didn't want to fill up her head with clothes and costumes today. 

Maki, widening her eyes a little as a result of Shirogane's suggestion, warmly smiled later. "Of course, dear..I was thinking about that, too. It could even give us ideas for costumes for the upcoming events, don't you think?" She told her idea to Tsumugi, who quickly smiled and nodded at her, giving her a quick peck on the cheek right after.

Time flew by fast as they watched a ton of Halloween movies, such as Coraline to It to Tim Burton movies.
By now, both were almost fast asleep on eachother's embrace, the only reason of they still being awake is Tsumugi's infinite suggestions on costumes as the night passed by.

"How about Starfire and Raven?—No, too boring...maybe Amy and Rouge—" Her blabbering being interrupted by a soft kiss on her lips, making her blush a little and lose her line of thought. 
"Tsumugi, dearest, let's leave that for tomorrow, okay?" Maki smiled softly at her, which received a shy grin in response.

Both fastly slept in the middle of some movie that was passing, not without sneaking kisses and soft intimate touches before. Mingled bodies with steady and synchronized breaths, two love doves enjoying together the chilly night of Halloween.

Welll, that was it! Almost lost the cue for the Halloween, but I did it, lol!
Any critique is appreciated :) Also thinking for some sweet coffee date for the Autumn vibes, but I'm not so sure about that.
