After finalizing their jewelry selections, Parvathi's excitement was far from over. She had one more stop in mind: the saree showroom. Sathya's quiet protests about the lavishness of the shopping only seemed to encourage Parvathi even more, while Shreya, masked in forced politeness, followed with simmering jealousy.

As they stepped into the saree showroom, a sense of awe filled Sathya. Walls were lined with vibrant silks, cottons, and chiffons in every color imaginable, each piece more breathtaking than the last. Parvathi led the way, her eyes lighting up as she scanned the collection.

"Today, we're picking out your wedding saree and reception outfit," Parvathi announced proudly, signaling for a staff member to bring them their finest selections. "We have to make sure you look stunning."

Sathya, feeling overwhelmed, managed a grateful smile. "Aunty, really, we don't need anything too expensive. I'll be happy with something simple."

Parvathi waved her off, laughing. "You're marrying into the Menon family, Sathya. Simplicity won't do! Let us treat you like the queen you are."

The attendant brought out a series of sarees, each one more ornate than the last. Parvathi settled on a traditional Kerala kasavu saree-pure white with a rich golden border, intricate in its simplicity. She ran her fingers over the soft material, picturing Sathya in it.

"This is for the morning ceremony," Parvathi said, her tone final. "There's nothing more beautiful than a traditional look, and it will suit you perfectly."

Sathya admired the saree with a shy smile. "It's beautiful, Aunty. Thank you."

Parvathi gave her a gentle pat on the back. "Wait until you see what I've planned for the main wedding saree."

Just then, Parvathi's phone buzzed, and she noticed a missed call from Lakshmi. She immediately returned the call, grinning. "Lakshmi, we're at the saree showroom. Would you like to see our choices?"

Lakshmi's face appeared on the video call, beaming with excitement. "Yes, please! I want to be part of all this!"

Parvathi turned her phone toward the display of sarees, showing each option to Lakshmi, who was on the other end, nodding approvingly. "How about that pink kanchipuram silk saree?" Lakshmi suggested, pointing to a gorgeous, deep pink saree with elaborate gold zari work that seemed to shimmer under the lights.

Sathya's eyes widened at the sight of it. "Oh, Aunty, it's beautiful, but... it looks very expensive."

Parvathi chuckled, brushing off Sathya's concerns. "You don't worry about that, dear. This is your wedding. Besides, I want you to have the best."

Shreya, meanwhile, watched the entire exchange with a clenched jaw. She couldn't help but feel a pang of envy as Parvathi and Lakshmi showered Sathya with praise and love. They had already settled on the jewelry, and now Parvathi was sparing no expense for these sarees. It made Shreya feel overlooked, a mere bystander in a moment she once dreamed would be hers.

After finalizing the wedding sarees, Parvathi led them toward another section of the store to pick out a reception lehenga. Sathya's heart skipped a beat at the sight of the embellished lehengas, each one draped in beads, sequins, and luxurious fabrics.

"Let's pick something vibrant," Parvathi suggested, her eyes sparkling. "You'll need to shine on your reception night!"

As they sifted through the options, Parvathi finally settled on a stunning lehenga in shades of deep maroon and gold, complete with a heavily embroidered dupatta. Sathya marveled at the intricate craftsmanship, admiring the way the colors complemented each other.
