Author's POV
Sathya sat on the edge of the bed, her fingers nervously playing with the hem of her saree. The anxiety in her chest grew heavier with each passing second. How would she tell Sidh what was on her mind? The thought made her stomach churn. Suddenly, the sound of the bathroom door opening jolted her from her thoughts.
Sidh stepped out, his tall, commanding frame wrapped in nothing but a towel tied securely around his waist. Droplets of water trailed down his chiseled chest, glistening in the soft sunlight streaming through the glass-paneled window. His damp brownish-black hair shone, catching the light in a way that made him seem almost ethereal.
Sathya couldn't help but stare, her thoughts spiraling.

Sathya's POV
Oh my god. How am I supposed to talk to him with a straight face?
I heard the bathroom door creak open, and before I could compose myself, he was right in front of me. My eyes betrayed me, trailing from his perfectly shaped toes to his broad shoulders and then up to his wet hair.
Why, oh why, did God make him this handsome? His messy brown hair was the same feature that had caught my attention back in high school when we first met. And now, standing here, drenched in sunlight, he looked even more breathtaking.
I swallowed hard, trying to snap out of it. Focus, Sathya! You have something important to say.
But before I could gather the courage to speak, his deep voice interrupted my racing thoughts.
"Oh, wait, Sathya. I'll change into my clothes. Just wait outside for a moment," he said casually, walking toward the cupboard.
I nodded quickly, trying to mask my flustered state. I stepped out of the room, but his tall, handsome figure refused to leave my mind.

Sidh's POV
I grabbed a black T-shirt and a pair of matching pants from the cupboard. Running a hand through my wet hair, I glanced at the door. Sathya must be pacing outside, probably overthinking something again.
"Sathya!" I called out, but before I could finish, her voice reached me first.
"Hey, are you done?" she asked softly.
I smirked and replied, "Yeah, come in."
The door opened, and she walked in, her eyes darting nervously. I could tell she wanted to say something but was hesitating.
"Sidh, I need to talk," she finally said, her voice low but firm.
"Sure," I replied, gesturing for her to sit on the bed. "Let's talk."
She sat down, clutching the edge of her saree tightly, her fingers fidgeting with the fabric.

Sathya's POV
This is it. Just say it, Sathya, I told myself, taking a deep breath.
I looked up at Sidh. He was leaning casually against the wall, his arms crossed over his chest, waiting patiently.
"What do you want to say?" he asked again, his tone calm but curious.
I forced the words out before I lost my nerve. "Sidh, when we go to my house today, we need to act like a real couple in front of my family. Just like how we're acting here in front of yours. I know this is a contract marriage, and we're still just friends-strangers when it comes to love. But today, I need you to act like my loving husband, just as I've been doing here."
