As Baki's name is being announced to the stadium, I see he's stronger, no problem. I smile feeling proud. Then as my brothers name is annoyncwd... I know he'll run at Baki with no idea what he's doing.
Baki looks good me, I know his stare is to ask for permission, to do what he needs to win. I bow my head as agreement. And then that's when I see it Baki's famous concentration face, intimidation...
I know felt worry for shunsei... and as expected he charged at Baki with no thought nothing... as he got close I saw his fate.
Shunsei aims got a punch, all Baki had to do was step to the side and punch the tip of his jaw, as he slowly falls forward, back swings upward hitting right under his jaw, his last move kicking into his jaw last, leaving Shunsei to fall, lay face first on the ground.
Out of worry I run forward, coming to hide side, thankfully hearing he can still breathe.
"He's alive "
Looking up I see Yujiro is at the doorway into the arena, smirking as he high fives his son, medics take my brother to rest.
He stands in the doorway of it, as he holds out a hand as if to ask me to join him. Glaring I turn away to follow after my brother being carried.
As he's placed in the waiting room they have, I check over my brother. "It's retsu's fight next... against Son Kaioh."
"From the looks of it the new chosen Kaioh's not chosen by you are weak" I say. "Seems, but let Retsu decide, go"
"Yes master" he says as he leaves to his fight.
I sit back exhausted of this all... worst of all, whataster Kaku will do when he wakes. I worry badly for it. And a so think this my dread shows as his eyes awaken.
"Shunsei" I run over. "Yuuma?" He asks whispering. But Kaku comes over.
Kaku stands over
"Are you even my son, you can't be, he wouldn't lose, your not my son quite martial arts, give up, your not my son" fathers words hurt... he's abandoning my brother.
I stand growling.
"Don't YOU DARE!" I growl.
"Not like you've favored him, no you was training me and leaving him the scraps for training! So this is it your so set on that Chinese martial arts is so perfect he can't lose?! Not every fight is able to win!" I shout furiously at him.
"Don't you speak that way with me! Your lucky I let you back into our temple"
"Maybe if you treated my Shunsei with just much expectations and attention as me then he would even be better... he's not stopping martial arts... I'll train him... for you are delirious...."
Before he can stop me, I have shunsei come with me, I help lift him. "I'll be back later when Retsu finished his fight" I mutter as I take my brother to my guest room.
I help lay him down on the sofa, placing a cushion and blanket.
"You didn't have to defend me, he's right I'm no son of Kaioh Kaku-"
"Quite!" I snap at him.
"You are his son, you're gonna lose a fight or two, I have! You use this to learn from your mistakes and you get better! I will train you, I'll make sure your trained, and not left behind, your like a brother to me.brother" I announce, as I pull a blanket over him. I make him a drink of water and painkillers.
(Since there long time with each other even when young they were like brothers)
"Now you rest, I've gotta go deal with your shit father, I'm not abandoning you Shunsei, you didn't Abandon me, so I won't you" I stop seeing him crying, I go over.
"I'm sorry" I whispers to me.
"No it's alright, no need for apology, now rest, I'll come back later" I say hugging him.
"And I'm not going back to the temple after this, you can come with me, maybe we'd both benefit away from your power crazy dad" I joke.
"Really?" He asks shocked.
"Yes, don't worry your not being left, now rest" I say for the millionth time.
I leave the room going back to father and his minions I guess.
As I walk in I find retsu's finished his fight.
I had seen the fight walking back, weak chosen Kaioh lost, making out he had an iron grip... his hands were ruined after going against Retsu, they ain't no iron grip hands.
The three ministry within the room also... this won't be good for them.
"Sorry for bothering you after your match Retsu but What do you thing Retsu?" Fathers asks him.
"Not at all, honestly speaking, I'm incredibly disappointed" Retsu admits.
"And you Kaioh Orochi?" Kaku asks.
"They're weaker than expected, not as used to be" I admit also.
"Even after seven matches,in the first round, Yuuma you and I, only three Chinese victors remaining"he speaks to Retsu.
"Ministers put your hands together"
Yep there fucked. As they place there hands together in rage Kaku throws a needle in the middle cutting of there hands with a hand swipe, even impressing me.
"From now one! Sea king name must never be handed over to the outsiders"
With Kaku new I guess law.
"I ask a rematch, Chinese martial arts vs outsiders" he demands.
I glare.
"Can't handle defeat once again Kaku" I say bluntly.
"5 fights each, go tell them" Kaku orders Retsu. I can see Retsu is disgusted as I am.
As he even tells Kaku himself, he leaves.
Poor Retsu.
I have to sit and wait. Hear what to be told, once Retsu returns I see worry in his eyes.
"Retsu?" I ask.
"They ask for something in return.... Well Yujiro does" Retsu points out.
"What is it boy!" Kaku demands.
"He demands His Wife as he puts it... He wants you Yuuma"
I feel my blood boiling.
"He... he's NOT not doing this to me again! I just rid of my father's hold IM NOT having that again!" Shout.
"They said that or nothing as Yujiro joked" Retsu explains.
"Deal" Kaku says.
I turn to him.
Furious. "NO YOU DONT! You're not controlling my life, I don't agree to it, even if he wins IM NOT GOING EITH HIM... if I must go into hiding again I will!" I shout.
"And you don't fucking control my life just because your pride can't handle that Kaiohs aren't the strongest no more!"
I walk to the door
"I'm not staying for this"
I open the door to leave, but stop seeing Yujiro is right there.
"Get out my way!" I shout. As I go to push past, but he holds my face in one hand.
"You knew this would happen" he says dangerously. I cut my hand across to hit him, as it only leaves a scratch just under his eye...
"See ya darlin'" he jokes, I push past him... I hardly even cut him at it. Shit!
