Reborn as A Snake! (3.) [ONGOING]

(10). - Departure [II].

          The Heavenly Knight looked at me with a dead serious expression, before moving onto his explanation of what exactly had transpired here. He started off by explaining how around 2 months ago, Dinyu — the leader of the Hand Sons of Tritery, had been spotted snooping around the Holy Capital as well as the Holy Night Orders main headquarters. It was and still is unknown what he was doing there, however it is widely believed that whatever business he had there, wasn't anything good.

A little while after Harcone had returned, he was tasked with tracking down and subduing Dinyu within the Holy Capital before he left, in order to one - find out what he was up to, but also two - to hopefully put an end to the Hand Sons of Tritery as a whole by getting the leader to either reveal the location of their main base or by announcing across the world that the leader had been captured and demanding all members to reveal themselves or he would be executed for his continuous crimes.

Over the course of the next 2 months, Harcone slowly tracked Dinyu through the world, staying as close as he could to Dinyus tracks, before being distracted by some business at Yiinao Magic Academy and being forced to put his trailing on hold. After getting all of that under control and reporting back to the Holy Night Orders headquarters, Harcone resumed his tracking of Dinyu, which eventually led him to return to Ordial, where the Leader had allegedly been seen arriving.

From there, Harcone has been around 2 days in Ordial, searching for signs of Dinyu, however not having come close to finding him — until earlier today, when he appeared in the Adventuring Guild disguised as Gidou.

And from there, everything else was speeded through in quick succession. Apparently he had called upon me while acting as Gidou, before beginning to use some powerful Hypnosis Type magic on me, which caused me to fall into a trance like state — luckily he didn't manage to gain full control of my mind, as Gidou, Jio and Harcone all managed to arrive in time, with Harcone then proceeding to clash with the Leader of the Hand Sons across Ordial - wrecking havoc across the town.

<Harcone>;
"However, despite my efforts — Dinyu somehow managed to survive a powerful attack of mine and then made his quick escape - stating that I couldn't continue the battle if I truly cared about not hurting the town or its citizens, as my full power would most certainly level the entire town."

Harcone finished, his arms crossed as he looked at me for a second and then lowered his head down a bit. I remained silent, not quite sure on what I should say in response to all that information.

Now that I think back on it, when I first came into the Guildmasters Office, it did seem quite strange to me how 'Gidou' was acting...
The atmosphere was also very unusual.

I can't believe I managed to drop my guard enough for the Leader of the Hand Sons to get the jump on me and start messing with my head.

I grit my teeth slightly in annoyance, before squeezing my hands into fists out of frustration with myself. I let myself get too relaxed by the fact that my entire family had reunited and we had come to a place I was already familiar with after a very long time.

What a fool I am.

Gidou seemingly noticed Naolas frustration, exhaling and letting out a small fake cough, before walking over to the window behind his desk.

<Gidou>;
"But that is the past now. Right now, I will have to work together with the Duke of Ordial to fix the mess that Harcones duel against Dinyu has left in Ordial."

He stated, before placing his arms behind his back and then turning to look at me with a serious expression across his face.

<Gidou>;
"As for you Miss Naola, what you wish to do next is up to you."
