Marinette Dupain-Cheng was just a normal girl with a normal life.
Until she became Ladybug, the hero and protecter of Paris, France, and the holder of the Ladybug Miraculous. Her partner was Chat Noir, the holder of the Black Cat Miraculous.
Ladybug was also the Guardian of the Miracle Box, which held the last few Miraculous of the world. It was her job to protect it.
Then, it became too much.
