On a chilly Halloween evening, Rohit and Virat were buzzing with excitement, ready to celebrate their son Ishan's first real trick-or-treating experience. The house was adorned with spooky decorations, and the faint smell of pumpkin and spice wafted from the kitchen, where Virat was preparing a special Halloween dinner.
Rohit and Virat had both decided to dress up in matching ghost costumes—simple yet playful. Ishan, meanwhile, was dressed as a tiny pumpkin, his round costume making him look even more adorable.
( Something like this but more adorable)
After a quick dinner of spooky-shaped sandwiches and orange juice, Rohit grabbed Ishan and gave him a big hug. "Are you ready to go trick-or-treating, little pumpkin?" he asked, lifting him onto his shoulders.
"Yes!" Ishan shouted, his laughter echoing through the room. With a little wave, they stepped outside, the glow of the streetlamps illuminating their path.
As they walked down the block, Ishan pointed at the decorated houses, his eyes wide with wonder. "Look, ghosts!" he exclaimed, pointing at some hanging decorations.
"Just like us!" Virat chimed in, playfully swaying his ghostly sheet. "But we're friendly ghosts, right?"
"Right!" Ishan giggled.
They approached the first house, adorned with a glowing jack-o'-lantern. Rohit knelt beside Ishan. "Okay, buddy, remember what to say?"
Ishan nodded , his small pumpkin bucket in hand. He knocked on the door, and when it opened, a cheerful lady greeted them. "Well, hello there! What a cute pumpkin you are!" she exclaimed.
"Trick or treat!" Ishan shouted, his voice ringing with excitement.
She smiled, dropping a handful of candy into his bucket. "Happy Halloween!" she said, waving as they moved on.
With each house they visited, Ishan became more confident, shouting "trick or treat!" and thanking each neighbor. Rohit and Virat couldn't help but laugh at Ishan's enthusiasm.
After a few more stops, Ishan's bucket was nearly overflowing. The night air was filled with laughter and joy, and the trio returned home, their spirits high.
"How about some Halloween-themed pasta?" Virat asked, grinning as they entered their home.
"Yay!" Ishan cheered, plopping down at the dining table. Rohit helped Ishan wash his hands, and soon they were all seated, enjoying there pasta, and the table set with creepy decorations.
Dinner was a delight, They shared stories, laughed, and even made up silly ghost sounds, reveling in the warmth of family.
After dinner, Ishan eagerly poured out his bucket of candy on the table, eyes sparkling. "Can we eat some now?" he asked, bouncing in his chair.
"Of course!" Rohit said. They all shared a few treats, savoring the sweetness of the moment.
As the night wound down, Ishan, tired but happy, snuggled between his parents on the couch, clutching a chocolate bar. "Can we do this every year, Baba and Papa?" he murmured, his eyelids drooping.
"Every year, little pumpkin," Virat said softly, wrapping an arm around him.
And as the soft glow of the jack-o'-lantern flickered in the window, the warmth of love and laughter filled their home, making it a Halloween to remember.
