Note: I'm not implying that Ishan is girly or anything, it's just that he's been glowing so much lately and I couldn't help but write about it, so please don't be mad at me.❤️

In the Indian cricket team, there's always a lighthearted atmosphere, filled with jokes and friendly jabs, especially when it comes to teasing each other. Recently, Ishan Kishan has found himself at the center of it all, being treated with the kind of flair and attention usually reserved for a movie star.

It started innocently enough. During a team dinner, Virat Kohli noticed that Ishan had an impressive spread of skincare products, and KL Rahul pointed out how meticulously Ishan styled his hair before every practice session. "Bhai, yeh toh apna Shah Rukh Hai," Rahul quipped, comparing Ishan to Bollywood's King Khan. Everyone burst into laughter, and from then on, a little game was born.

The next morning, Ishan arrived at practice only to find a red carpet—courtesy of Shubman Gill—rolled out just for him. Rohit Sharma, holding a mock "paparazzi" camera (really just his phone), made exaggerated camera shutter sounds, saying, "Ishan bhai, one look here, please! Show us that million-dollar smile!" The whole squad erupted in laughter, while Ishan tried to play it cool, though he couldn't hide his grin.

To take it further, during the following practice session, Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya devised a plan to give Ishan his "diva" treatment on the field. Every time Ishan was up to bat, Hardik would adjust his cap and shout, "Silence, everyone, the star is about to perform!" Bumrah even went so far as to bring out a chair and an umbrella, inviting Ishan to take a break between every few deliveries.

The rest of the team quickly caught on and joined in, treating Ishan to fresh towels and even a mock "fan" session with towels when he was pretending to be overheated. Ravindra Jadeja pretended to be his personal assistant, constantly asking, "Sir, do you need a cold drink? A refreshing towel?" Ishan, for his part, played along, smiling and giving a dramatic wave, as if he were really living the celebrity life.

But the grand finale came at the end of the week when the team arranged a small cake-cutting ceremony, declaring it "Diva Day" in Ishan's honor. The cake was decorated with little makeup kits and stars, and Ishan's teammates presented him with a fake "Best Diva" award.

Ishan laughed till his sides hurt, realizing how much his teammates loved him and enjoyed having fun with him. And though he knew he'd never hear the end of his "diva" status, he also knew he wouldn't trade his time with the Indian cricket family for the world.
