They'd been there for an eternity. 

At least, that's what it felt like. 

Unable to tell night from day other than when the lights went out and came back on, they lived in mystery. 

They didn't even know why they were there. 

All they knew was the name of the man that kept them there, the handful of spoken and unspoken rules, and the pain of experiments.



They can only hope for freedom.



They have begun to doubt they will ever receive it.
