Maki smiled to herself, listening to music while she waited for Todoroki to arrive. He texted her, telling her that he was running late. She scrolled through Instagram, taking a seat at an empty table.
"Hello, Kaminari." Todoroki sat down in front of her.
"Hey!" She put her phone down. A waiter came over and took their orders.
"Should we get a dessert to share?" He asked. She nodded excitedly.
"That would be perfect!" She cheered. He nodded. When the waiter came back around, they ordered food. Maki got a sandwich while Todoroki got a salad.
"I miss the cats..." Todoroki said, making Maki giggle.
"We can see the cats later." She said, "Only if you want to. We don't have to."
"No, I'd love to go see the cats later." He said, making her smile softly.
"Okay, sounds like a plan." The yellow eyed girl took a sip of her coffee. She hummed from the taste.
"Can I try some of yours?" Todoroki asked, taking a sip of his own coffee. She nodded, and they switched cups.
"Iced Americano?" She asked. He nodded. She giggled.
"That's very fitting." She handed the cup back to him.
"How so?" He asked, handing hers back.
"Well, you like cold things. Your vibe just kinda screams Iced Americano." She said, swirling her straw around her cup.
"Well, yours is very chocolate tasting." He said.
"Well, I like chocolate." She smiled at him. He chuckled, and they began to eat. After they were done eating, they ordered a slice of fudge cake.
"It looks good." Todoroki said, holding his fork.
"I bet it tastes even better than it looks." She grabbed her fork.
"Wanna find out?" He asked.
"Of course." She smiled, stabbing the cake with het fork. They took a bite of the cake in sync.
"It is good..." He muttered. She smiled at his reaction.
"So are you..." She mumbled.
"Hm?" He looked at her.
"Oh, nothing." She smiled at him. He nodded and went back to eating. She did the same.
