The sun was just beginning to set, casting a golden hue across the Cantrall-Baker living room, where Kylie Cantrall and Malia Baker were bustling about in excited preparation. The day had finally arrived—Ava and Jake were going to find out the gender of their baby, and the entire family was gathered for the reveal.

Kylie was hanging a banner that read "Boy or Girl?" while Malia arranged snacks on the table, colorful cupcakes topped with either pink or blue frosting. "I can't believe we're finally doing this!" Kylie exclaimed, glancing at the clock. "Ava and Jake should be here any minute!"

Malia smiled, her eyes shining with excitement. "I know! I can't wait to see their faces. It's such a big moment for them."

As if on cue, the door opened, and Ava walked in, her face glowing with anticipation. Jake followed closely behind, a grin spreading across his face. "Hey, everyone!" Ava said, her voice bubbling with energy. "Are we ready for this?"

"Absolutely!" Malia replied, giving them both a hug. "We've got everything set up. Just waiting on you two!"

Ava glanced around the room, taking in the decorations and treats. "This is amazing! I can't believe how much effort you put into this."

"Only the best for our grandbaby!" Kylie said, hugging her daughter tightly.

After a few moments of catching up, the group gathered in the living room, and Malia explained the plan. "We have a special confetti cannon for the reveal. When you're ready, you'll pop it, and the color of the confetti will reveal the gender of the baby!"

Ava's excitement was palpable, but there was also a hint of nervousness in her eyes. "What if it's a boy? Or a girl? I just want to know!"

"Whatever it is, it'll be loved," Kylie reassured her, squeezing her hand.

"Okay, let's do this!" Jake said, holding the confetti cannon in his hands. They all gathered around, the anticipation thick in the air.

Malia and Kylie stood nearby, holding their breath as the countdown began. "Three... two... one!"

Jake pulled the trigger, and with a loud pop, a burst of colorful confetti exploded into the air. Pink and blue bits swirled around them, but as they settled, it became clear: the confetti was a vibrant pink.

Ava gasped, her hands flying to her mouth. "It's a girl!" she exclaimed, her eyes wide with joy.

Kylie and Malia rushed to embrace Ava, their hearts swelling with happiness. "Congratulations, Mama! You're having a baby girl!" Malia cheered, her voice filled with excitement.

Jake pulled Ava into a tight hug, lifting her off the ground. "We're going to be parents!" he said, his voice filled with awe.

As they stood in the living room, surrounded by pink confetti, Kody peeked in from the hallway. "What's happening? Why are you all so happy?" he asked, his face curious.

"Ava is having a baby girl!" Kylie announced, beaming with pride.

Kody's face lit up with excitement. "Cool! I'm going to be the best big brother ever!" he declared, his energy infectious.

They all gathered around the table, sharing stories and dreams about the new addition to their family. The room was filled with laughter and chatter as they discussed baby names, nursery themes, and the joys of raising a little girl.

Kylie couldn't help but feel a wave of nostalgia wash over her as she watched Ava and Jake share their visions of parenthood. "This little girl is going to be so loved," she said softly to Malia, who nodded in agreement.

Later that evening, as they settled down to eat, Ava raised her glass. "To our baby girl! May she bring as much joy to our lives as all of you have brought to mine."

They clinked their glasses together, hearts full, knowing that this was just the beginning of a beautiful journey filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories.
