Their second month together was full of laughter and quiet moments of understanding. They enjoyed every second in each other's company; Soohyun, savoring each moment with Jiwon, felt as though his days were brighter with her by his side. Jiwon, in turn, always tried to be his perfect companion, finding small ways to show her care. She would visit his training sessions during her free time, quietly cheering for him from the sidelines. Though the other players sometimes tried to get her attention, flexing their skills or calling out to her, she would only smile and bow politely in response. But when Soohyun approached her, she couldn't hide the wide grin that spread across her face, offering him a towel and a drink.
Soohyun was a natural athlete, excelling in basketball, golf, and bowling, and even finding time to play football for fun. Yet, his ambition didn't stop there; despite a packed schedule, he was deeply committed to his F1 training, immersing himself in the demanding world of high-speed racing. The dedication required for F1 was intense—early mornings, physical conditioning, and sharp focus—but Soohyun thrived on the challenge, driven by a need to constantly push his limits. Meanwhile, Jiwon devoted herself fully to ballet and swimming, her world a blend of grace, precision, and unwavering discipline. While their interests were vastly different, the commitment and passion they shared only drew them closer together, creating a bond strengthened by their mutual respect for each other's pursuits.
"How's your day?" Soohyun asked, taking the drink from Jiwon with a grateful smile. He knew she had ballet class after lectures and that is the reason she is a bit late for today.
"Pretty good. We're just practicing for the upcoming competition," she replied, eyes bright with excitement.
Soohyun nodded, smiling at her with a warmth that made her cheeks flush. It was hard to believe that they were already three months in, with only a few days left before the end of their 'trial period.'
Jiwon dug into her bag, pulling out a banana. "Here, I brought this for you. It's good for a quick energy boost," she said, holding it out.
"Thanks, baby." He gave her a quick kiss on the head before he continued, "I'll take a quick shower, and then I'll send you to the studio." He knew she had another photoshoot scheduled, and he wanted to make sure she got there safely.
As he hurried off, Jiwon found herself smiling, feeling his warmth linger. She decided to wait at a nearby café, picking up an ice americano to recharge before the photoshoot, despite knowing Soohyun would likely tease her later for indulging in her coffee habit. She took a sip, glancing over her notes for the brand she'd be modeling for—a well-known clothing line with a classic yet vibrant aesthetic. As she read, her thoughts drifted back to Soohyun, who'd been supportive from day one, always going out of his way to be by her side, making her feel special even during the busiest days.
When Soohyun reappeared, his hair still slightly damp, he wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "Let's get you to the studio," he murmured, his thumb gently tracing along her shoulder as they walked together.
At the studio, Soohyun settled into his usual role, hovering nearby yet giving her space to focus. He was now a familiar face to the crew, watching with admiration as Jiwon seamlessly moved from one pose to the next. He loved seeing her in her element, radiating confidence as the photographer guided her through each frame. With each click of the camera, Soohyun found himself more captivated, as if he was seeing her for the first time.
"You're killing it, baby," he whispered during a short break, handing her a water bottle and a small snack.
Jiwon laughed softly, her cheeks flushed from both the praise and the slight exhaustion. "You're just saying that," she teased, nudging him gently.
