Noriyuki stood at the entrance of Hope's Peak Academy, his eyes still holding his ever dulled out expression. His expression remaining impassive despite the striking and prestigious academy that is standing before him. On his left hand, is a heavy bag containing most of his essentials and some items that his colleagues made him bring. While on his right is a white umbrella, shielding himself from the sun's harmful rays of light.
Hope's Peak Academy
It's renowned for nurturing only the brightest and most talented individuals across various fields. Its imposing, modern campus rose high, surrounded by walls that whispered of exclusivity and secrecy. Only those deemed "Ultimate" in their respective skills received invitations to study here. This elite atmosphere inspired both admiration and curiosity among the public, as many viewed Hope's Peak graduates as the future leaders and innovators of society.
Inside, the academy blended sophistication with state-of-the-art technology. Each department and classroom was tailored to the unique talents of its students, from art studios for the Ultimate Artist to high-tech labs for the Ultimate Scientist. The walls displayed portraits of notable alumni, serving as a constant reminder of the high expectations placed upon the students. The faculty were as esteemed as the students, each an expert committed to fostering greatness.
Yet, beneath the promise of excellence, Hope's Peak carried an air of mystery. Rumors swirled about hidden corridors, secretive faculty projects, and strict policies that governed student behavior. It was a place where talent was celebrated and tested-a crucible that forged and tempered brilliance, leaving students in a constant state of anticipation for what lay ahead.
Beside Noriyuki stood Chisa Yukizome, a relatively older woman newly appointed at the academy. She certainly had a distinct presence-an intriguing character, to say the least.
Chisa: Are you excited, Nori?
Noriyuki: I wouldn't say excited; I'm definitely more curious.
Chisa: Then that's a good attitude to have!
She responded with enthusiasm, giving Noriyuki a friendly pat on the back. Despite her bubbly and cheerful personality, he maintained his impassive expression, remaining largely unaffected by her exuberance. The gate creaked open slowly, and the two began their walk into the academy's hallowed grounds.
As they made their way toward the Headmaster's office, Noriyuki's gaze wandered around the campus. He found himself captivated by the stark contrast between the vibrant atmosphere of Hope's Peak and the oppressive environment of the base back in Osaka. Here, the air was filled with a sense of optimism and possibility, a far cry from the dark, silent metal-walled corridors he was accustomed to. In the distance, he caught sight of a silhouette leaping gracefully over the buildings, the figure possessing a distinctly feminine frame. However, they were too far away for Noriyuki to discern any clear details, leaving him with a lingering sense of curiosity about who-or what-might be soaring above the academy.
