Today was a pretty normal school day. Ralph, Blaze, and Cristofer were running the business as usual. Blaze sat in the corner of the bathroom and counted up all they money they had made so far from today's progress. "Two hundred and thirty one! This is one of our most successful days so far man," Blaze smiled and dapped up both Ralph and Cristofer. "Finally we got our boss happy for us," Cris said while staring down at all the money in Blaze's hands.
Later in the final period, Ralph sat in class holding onto his bag, which was lying on the ground, he was waiting for the bell to ring. The thin red hand on the clock, that indicated seconds, slowly ticked and ticked, the final minute of the school day came around, and Ralph stood up from his chair, picking his backpack up after him. Ralph threw the backpack up around both his shoulders. Ralph grinned as the seconds hand on the clock ticked for the final 10 seconds of school.
Three.. Two.. One.. *RING!* Ralph threw open the classroom door and flew through the halls of his school, running to the exit, searching for his bus and getting on. All of this excitement would end when there was a call incoming from Blaze. Ralph picked up the phone and heard Blaze start speaking.
"Hey uhh Kendrich called me and told me to tell you and Cris to meet him at that one parking garage today after we get home." Ralph sighed and felt pretty scared of what was to come next. "Alright, I'll be there." Ralph hung up the phone and put it back into his pocket, glancing around the bus, the green seats, the white ceiling with nails screwed into it, the aisle for students to walk through. Then Ralph turned to look through the window, and stayed quiet for the rest of the ride, with paranoia running through his mind.
Ralph quickly switched bags and then got on his bike, and started riding over to the parking garage. Once he finally arrived, everyone else was there waiting for him. "Ayo Ralph quick!" Cristofer called out, before running into the parking garage. This parking garage in question was always empty, it was perfect for business, so Ralph knew that this was going to be no good, whatever it was.
Once Ralph made it to the same level as everyone else, he saw Kendrich with his Desert Eagle in his hand, pointing it at a boy with his hands tied behind his back with zip ties, after getting a better look at the boy who had his life at risk, Ralph identified him. It was Clay.
"Yo uhm Prince what are you doing?" Ralph shouted out, while running over, confused as to why Clay was out of juvie and over here in this parking garage. Kendrich glanced over at Ralph, then shouted back. "When I bailed you, I bailed this little punk out too. You know, this guy was also part of that little cocaine selling operation. We gotta take out the last one." Ralph's heart was beating heavily, he thought he was just asleep and having a nightmare, but no, this was completely reality. Ralph paused to think for a moment. "Hey yo that kid was a nice guy in juvie you don't gotta do this.." Ralph's words had only made the situation worse however. Kendrich looked back up at Ralph. "Okay well do you want to be in his position next?" Kendrich raised the gun up at Ralph, making him rethink what he had said, "nevermind.." the gun was now pointed back at an unfortunate Clay. Ralph felt bad but there was nothing he could do, or else he would be going down with him.
"Take this gun," Kendrich reached into his waistband and pulled out the now unjammed Glock 43, and tossed it over to Ralph. "Now pass it over to one of your friends," Kendrich now had a heavy grin on his face, it looked horrifying. Ralph gulped, "man I can't do that.." Ralph looked down at the ground in disbelief and fear. "Then you pull the trigger on him. Unless you want me to shoot one of your little punk friends too.."
Ralph was now placed into a situation that would harm one of his friends either choice. It was to kill Clay, or for Blaze or Cristofer to be killed. Ralph had made his decision. The Glock 43 in his hands cocked back and the safety was switched off. Ralph lifted the gun from ground, and took aim at Clay, keeping his finger on the trigger guard. "I'm sorry it has to be this way, Clay. Maybe you'll find peace in the afterlife.." Ralph's hands were shaky, he couldn't keep his aim steady, his breathing speed increased, he could also feel his heart beating faster than he had ever felt it. Clay looked down at the ground, trying to hide the fear in his face. "Now, put your finger on the trigger. Ralph." Kendrich began to rush Ralph. No matter how hard Ralph tried, it felt like his finger was glued to the trigger guard, like two pieces of metal welded together. "Man hurry the fuck up!" Kendrich shouted, his voice echoing through the entire parking garage, rushing through every single floor. Ralph's finger hand finally reached the bare trigger. Blaze turned his head away. Cristofer covered his eyes with his hands. Ralph's finger weakly pulled on the trigger, as the trigger got closer and closer to firing, Kendrich's smile grew bigger and bigger.
*BANG!* The gunshot echoed louder than Kendrich's voice did. once everyone looked back, there was a boy with a bullet wound lying on the ground, and a tear running down Ralph's face. Kendrich was laughing, but nobody else was. Blaze and Cristofer looked at the body that lied on the ground. Both of them shocked. Prince clapped his hands in amazement, "Ralph, you're a murderer!" Prince continued to laugh. Ralph looked down at the ground once again, in complete shame, what was there to be so proud of? He had just killed a man.
"Aight lets get outa here.. bring that body and throw it in my trunk boys." Kendrich's men walked over to the body and picked it up, carrying it to the lowrider. The trio ran through the levels in the parking garage, and down to their bikes, picking them up and quickly riding off. Ralph had noticed something though.. he now has possession of the Glock 43 once again.
So many thoughts were running through Ralph's head, and there he was, in the same state as his first murder. He's a killer.
