Arthur yawned and woke up when he heard the warning bells ringing, and Gwaine bursted in, eyes red and puffy.

"Sire, we have a problem" Gwaine huffed

"What is it Gwaine?!" I spat

"Merlin... Morgana.. Morgana took Merlin!" He eventually managed to spit out.

I looked at Gwaine in complete and utter shock, and he just motioned for me to follow him. I quickly put on my jacket and boots, and I grabbed my sword from the table. The two of us ran to the courtyard.

Lance was standing on top of Percival's shoulders, and I tried to see what he was reaching for in the light of the coming dawn.

"Got it!" Lance shouted, not particularly to anyone, and Percival let him down.

All of the Knights looked at me a little uneasily as Percival handed me an arrow with a piece of paper tied to the fletchings.

           Dear Brother,

I knew you had to have one weakness, and when I figured out it was your SERVING BOY I nearly died laughing. Nearly. Now that I have him, I give you the choice. You let Merlin die, or your unborn son. Really, both, if you wanted. But I must kill at least one of them.

        Good tidings, Dear Brother
                  ~Morgana

I swear my face must have been a red as an apple with a whole soup of emotions. I was angry, embarrassed, angry, scared, angry, angry, and angry. All Morgana ever wanted to do was hurt me! I most likely would have made her my advisor, or something of that level, but she went haywire thanks to her half-sister, Morgause.

The Knights had taken a step back, and Gwaine, as shaken up as he was, had his hand on his sword.

I sent out as many search parties as Camelot could handle, but none of them found even a trace of either Morgana or Merlin.

Merlin's POV

Morgana had drugged me, so I couldn't move. She wasn't careful so I ended up getting all cut up on rocks and sticks. Once I regained feeling in my fingers, I tried to struggle, but Morgana whispered a spell, one I knew well, and I was immobilized.

I tried to undo the spell, but Morgana put a bracelet on my arm. It was the eye of the Phoenix, and the more I struggled, the more energy it took from me.

The metal was marked from the old religion.

I knew I couldn't use my magic, and I couldn't move. I tried to think of something I could do. But I had to talents without my magic besides being an idiot.

Dang it, I was using Arthur's quotes again.

I blacked out as I hit another tree, but u felt Morgana tie me up in her house.

I ran down the hall, as fast as I could with Gwaine and a servant, Peter, behind me. We bursted into Gaius' chambers, where Gwen was holding a baby boy, my baby boy.

I ran to Gwen and gave her a hug and a kiss, and then my attention turned to my son. He had a little bit of blonde hair, like mine, from what I could see. His lips, and nose belonged to Gwen.

His eyes were a blue like... Like Merlin's! I shook my head, thinking I was hallucinating, but when I looked at Gwen, she nodded too

"He has his eyes..." I nodded, more absentmindedly. Suddenly Gaius' chambers disappeared, and I found myself looking at... Myself in the courtyard.

"Got it!" Lance yelled.

Percival let him down and he handed me the note, but stepped away a good distance, and I noticed Gwaine put his hand on his sword.

"Arthur! Arthur!" I didn't realize Gwen was yelling my name. I shook my head and looked at her.

"What.. Huh? What happened?"

Gwen looked at Arthur "You blanked out for a minute." She frowned

"Just remembering." I said. It gave her warning that I didn't want to talk, and she backed off.

I looked at him, trying to throw away the name I wanted.

"I know what you want to name him" Gwen whispered, "Go ahead."

I smiled my thanks at her and looked into my son's eyes.

"Prince... Merlin, Ronny, Pendragon."
