Manik was in his studio busy with his upcoming song and its release. He was so immersed in it that the time slipped and he didn't even notice.
Manik sat on his table with his handphones on and the phone on a sofa in the room ringing aloud.
After about 2 hrs Manik finished his work, putting down the headphones he leaned on the chair and hand went in the pocket searching for his phone.
When he didn't find his phone he stood up searching for the device. Upon opening it he saw about 20 missed calls from Abhimanyu, 10 missed calls for Anay and many by Aarav too.
And that's when he realised it was 8 pm now and he was supposed to be at the mall by 5 or 6.
Manik then ran out of the company and reached the mall but found none of them there.
" Tu bhi pagal hai , sab ghar gaye honge n mall me hi thodi basna hai unhe " Manik says to himself.
With that he leaves the mall and turns the car towards his home.
Upon reaching there he parks the car.
He opens the main gate and steps inside only to get a sudden bone crushing hug.
" Bhai kaha the? Humne aapko kitne call kiye uthaya kyu nhi ? Thik ho aap ? Kuch hua hai kya ? " Aarav asked.
Manik hugs him back. " Kuch nhi hua hai baccha, dekh mai tuh bilkul safe hu " Manik says.
" Tuh call kyu nhi pick Kiya ? " Anay asked.
" Vo phone silent pe tha sofa pe aur mai studio me tha with headphones isliye". Manik said looking down.
" Ye koi tarika hai Manik ? Phone silent pe kyu tha ? Tum Aarav ko careless hone ke liye daate ho kud kon sa sahi example set kar rahe ho ? " Abhimanyu said.
" I am sorry baba " Manik says still looking down.
" Ager tu busy tha tuh ek message bhej deta, Aarav Tera wait kar raha tha, phir call bhi pick nhi kiye tune, Dara Diya n Manik yaar " Anay says a bit sad.
Manik looked at Aarav who was looking at him only. " I am sorry baccha, mai keh kar ki aaunga aya nhi , I am really sorry". Manik says holding his ears.
" Koi baat nhi bhai mai us baat ke liye gussa bhi nhi hu, bus hum sab dar gaye the , aap call pick nhi kar rahe the aur aapka maneger bhi nhi pick kar raha tha, baba abhi company ke liye hi nikalne wale the " Aarav says.
Manik looks at Abhimanyu who was looking at everything but Manik.
Abhimanyu was really mad at him for being so careless, he got a call from his Maneger yesterday about Manik skipping lunches he thought to discuss it with him today and today he example of his child carelessness about his belongings and his health.
Manik goes near him and holds his ears." I am sorry baba agli baar se nhi hoga " He said.
" I will make that sure Mr. Manik , meet me at the study after half an hour" saying that Abhimanyu leaves the hall.
Manik turns at Anay and Aarav for help.
" Bhaiyu aap mujhe kuch dikhane Wale the n ? Chalo dikhao tuh " Aarav says .
" Ha chal mere room me hai chalte hai " Saying that they left leaving Manik alone to fight with a roaring lion.
" Kaise bhai hai , sharam bhi nhi arahi ek bhai ki bali dete vakat, are koi bacchaooo yaarrrr" Manik says fake crying.
After half an hour Manik enters the study. He goes and stands near Abhimanyu silently.
Abhimanyu was busy with his laptop after few minutes he puts that down and turns to find Manik standing there silently.
