Chapter 7: Would You Like Spicy Noodles With That?

A few weeks have passed, Jingfei and Yongnian are still continuing their sexual-relationship behind everyone's back. Jung-Nam and Sung-Min still haven't talked about their issues and Xing is trying to take advantage of the situation.

Wednesday.

The hospital - 17:35 o'clock.

Jung-Nam came for the last time to visit Xing. He walked through the door and saw Peizhi and... he saw Xing standing up with a casket on his wrist. "Oh! Hi Xing and Peizhi," said Jung-Nam. "Hi, Jung-Nam!" said Xing. "Yo..." said Peizhi. "I see, you are completely healed," said Jung-Nam. "Yes! I can't wait until I can work with you!~" said Xing, happily. "Me too, I'm interested in how you work," said Jung-Nam, with a small smirk. "Yeah, are you gonna join us? We celebrate Xing being fired from the hospital," told Peizhi. "No, I have a dinner-date with Sung-Min and we need to talk about something that is bugging me for a while," answered Jung-Nam. "You still haven't talked with him about it?" asked Xing, in a more serious tone. "Wait! Talk about what? I don't follow..." asked Peizhi, confused. "Can I tell him?" asked Xing, for permission. "Yeah, I think almost everyone knows it by now..." answered Jung-Nam, a bit frustrated. "You know that Sung-Min is a youtuber, right?" reminded Xing. Peizhi nods. "Mhm," "He collaborated with another youtuber, but... she is one of Sung-Min's exes..." told Xing. Peizhi clicked the link of what was going on and said "Oh I see! You think he's cheating on you behind your back," "Yeah, but not really... Xing, show him the article," said Jung-Nam. Xing showed Peizhi the article that was updated for almost 2 to 3 hours. Peizhi read the article thoroughly before he said his opinion. "Well, what do you think?" asked Xing. "Hmm... I think he's not cheating on Jung-Nam with his ex but, they're just friends and I think there is nothing going on behind the cameras but! If it's true then you might go talk with him, I mean you haven't talked with him, you really need to talk with him... communication is key in every relationship, it doesn't matter if you're dating them or not..." told Peizhi. "But what if he's lying?..." asked Xing, quietly. "That is also an option," said Jung-Nam. "Do you really think like that? I don't think that's the case... just talk with him," said Peizhi. "Yeah, you're right! I need to go," said Jung-Nam, and walked out of the room. "Wait!" said Xing. "What is it?" asked Jung-Nam, before he reached the door-frame. "How's work? How's Jingfei?" asked Xing. "Work is fine, Miss Zhang retired and Jingfei loves working there with Yongnian there," answered Jung-Nam. "I can't wait to work there with you!~" said Xing, happily. "Me too!" said Jung-Nam, with a smile. Oh my god! He's so handsome! I really hope Sung-Min is cheating on you! Thought Xing. "Just go and talk with Sung-Min," said Peizhi, slightly jealous. "Yes," said Jung-Nam, and left the hospital. "Why did you chase him away like that? Are you jealous?~ Are you afraid that your bestie will be gone from you?~ Or I will be hurt again?~" said Xing, in a very teasing tone. He grabbed Peizhi's arm and held it very close to him. Peizhi tries not to blush and answers the questions: "B-because he needs to talk with Sung-Min, maybe a little bit jealous, yeah and I try to protect you from this drama because I don't want to get you involved," Xing looked directly at Peizhi's eyes and said "R-really? You want to protect me? Do you love me? Be honest Peizhi," said Xing, in a more serious tone than a few seconds ago. Peizhi grabbed Xing by the shoulder carefully and looked back at him, he can't hold back anymore. "Yes, I want to protect you because I love you..." "You really love me? For how long?" asked Xing. "Yes, I love you and ever since I laid my eyes on you because I was too scared to say anything... so I wanted to make a strong bond of friendship and we were dating other people and you had crushes on other people and had you heartbroken multiple times, I didn't want to be a burden to you..." told Peizhi. "Okay... I don't know what to say... I'm sorry but I have a crush on Jung-Nam..." said Xing. "It's okay, you don't have to say anything, I can be patient," said Peizhi, and hugged Xing, he let his tears roll down his cheeks. Xing is so surprised by this sudden confession, he hugs him back with his functioning arm. "Let it all out..." said Xing, quietly. Peizhi even cried harder and said with relief "Thanks, it feels so good when I finally said it," He hugs Xing tighter. "Ouch! My wrist, Peizhi," said Xing. "Oh sorry!" said Peizhi and released him, he wiped away his tears. "Nah, it's okay... do you want to kiss me? To make you feel better? We haven't kissed in a while," told Xing. "You don't mind kissing me, even though you love another person?" asked Peizhi. "No, I'm actually happy that you confessed to me for some reason... because I'm not even sure if Jung-Nam loves me back... if he does love me back, then I'll be even happier! And if he doesn't, I still have you... I also feel kinda bad for you," told Xing. Peizhi just stared at him, he put his thumb on Xing's underlip and stroked his cheek. "Your hand feels so warm, you're ready to kiss-" said Xing, without finishing his sentence, he feels warm lips against his. It was a kiss of years of stress, relief and compassion. Xing felt instantly a difference from the other kisses, this felt more powerful and more comfortable at the same time, he kissed him in the same manner. Peizhi put his hand on Xing's back and pulled him closer, he released the kiss. Xing knows what he's going for and he puts his arm around Peizhi's neck and shoulder and pulls him closer. They kissed again with tongue and were more compassionate. They both feel relieved and more understanding of each other's feelings, their tongues touching one another. Peizhi just felt amazing and Xing is also happy even if it's not Jung-Nam, he's very happy that he shared this.
