The bright lights of the Oxford University basketball arena illuminated Akira "Ace" Lee confident stride as she stepped onto the court. The crowd's energetic cheers and chants of "Ace! Ace! Ace!" filled the air, fueling her adrenaline.
Lisa, Akira's best friend and fellow athlete, shouted from the front row, "Go, Ace! Show them what you've got! We're rooting for you!" Rose, a quirky artist and social activist, waved a homemade "Ace #1" sign.
Akira's teammates high-fived her. "Let's do this, Ace! We've got this game!"
Coach Thompson, a tall, imposing figure with a kind smile, called out final instructions. "Remember, team, defense is key. Pass to ace when you can. And don't forget to move those feet!" Akira nodded, visualizing the game plan.
The game tipped off, and Akira's focus narrowed. She dribbled past opponents with lightning speed, her movements fluid and precise. The crowd gasped as she executed a perfect behind-the-back pass.
"Wow, did you see that?" Lisa shouted.
"Unbelievable!" Rose replied.
"Pass to Ace!" Coach Thompson yelled.
Akira caught the ball and shot. The swish of the net echoed through the arena, followed by thunderous applause.
Final score: Oxford University 65, rival college 50.
After the game, Lisa and Rose rushed Akira, beaming. "You were amazing, Ace!" Lisa exclaimed, embracing her. "Always!" Rose chimed, snapping photos.
After sometime....
Akira walked into her economics class, greeted by Professor Patel's warm smile.
"Good morning, class! Today we're discussing supply and demand. Who can tell me the law of demand?" Professor Patel asked.
Akira raised her hand, along with Jennie.
"Yes, Akira?" Professor Patel said.
"The law of demand states that as the price of a good increases, the quantity demanded decreases," Akira replied confidently.
Professor Patel nodded. "Exactly! Well done, Akira."
Jennie whispered to Akira, "You're a genius, Ace!"
Akira grinned. "Thanks, Jennie. Just studied hard."
Lisa, sitting behind them, chimed in, "Ace is always on top of it."
Rose, beside Lisa, added, "And she's humble too."
Professor Patel continued the lesson, using real-world examples.
After class, Akira met with her class president team.
"Alright, guys, let's discuss the upcoming school festival," Akira said.
Mia suggested, "We should have a talent show!"
Kim added, "And food trucks!"
Yeon proposed, "A photo booth would be awesome."
Kai noted, "We need to finalize the budget."
Akira nodded. "Great ideas, everyone. Let's make it happen."
As they brainstormed, Liam walked by and smiled at Akira. And also her friends were coming towards her saw all that..
"Hey, Ace. Need any help?" he asked.
Akira smiled back. "Thanks, Liam. We've got this."
Liam nodded and continued to his next class.
While coming closer to ace, Jennie whispered, "Liam's really into you, Ace."
Akira blankly said. "Just friends, Jen."
In cafeteria...
Akira walked into the bustling cafeteria, surrounded by the aroma of pizza, burgers, and salads. She joined the lunch line, scanning the options.
"Hey, Ace! What's up?" Jennie asked, falling in line beside her.
"Not much, Jennie. Just grabbing lunch," Akira replied.
Lisa joined them, holding a tray. "I'm starving! What's good today?"
Rose recommended, "The chicken wraps are amazing."
Jisso chimed in, "And the fruit salad is fresh."
Akira decided on a grilled chicken sandwich and fruit cup.
At their usual table, they settled in, chatting and laughing.
Jennie asked, "Ace, have you thought about the school festival theme?"
Akira nodded. "Yeah, I was thinking 'Spring Fling'."
Lisa suggested, "We could have a photo booth with spring props."
Rose added, "And a flower crown station."
Jisso exclaimed, "That sounds adorable!"
Akira smiled. "I love it. Let's make it happen."
As they ate, Liam walked by, smiling at Akira.
"Hey, Ace. Mind if I join you?" he asked.
Akira gestured to an empty chair. "Not at all, Liam."
Liam sat down, engaging in their conversation.
Jennie teased, "Liam's joining the festival planning committee."
Akira playfully rolled her eyes. "Oh, great."
Liam chuckled. "I'll help with the music lineup."
The group discussed festival details, brainstorming ideas.
As they finished lunch, Akira glanced at her schedule.
"Time for my basketball strategy review," she said.
Jennie reminded, "And our study session later."
Akira nodded. "Got it."
As they parted ways, Akira felt grateful for her supportive friends.
