Akira was laying in bed trying to sleep but couldn't, she switching her place trying to find some peace, but suddenly her phone buzzed on her nightstand. The clock read 10 PM, casting an eerie glow in her darkened room. She hesitated before answering.

"Akira, it's Mrs. Bae," the cold voice said.

Akira's eyes narrowed. "What do you want, Mrs. Bae?"

Mrs. Bae's tone was laced with condescension. "Don't be rude, Akira. I'm your mother."

Akira scoffed, her voice dripping with disdain. "Save it, Mrs. Bae. What do you want?"

"I've been thinking... it's time you came back to Seoul. Your sister, Yuna, misses you," Mrs. Bae said, her words laced with manipulation.

Akira snorted, remembering the countless nights she'd cried herself to sleep, the endless days she'd felt trapped and alone. "Yuna and you doesn't care about me. You both just want to control me."

Mrs. Bae's tone turned icy. "Fine. Be stubborn. But know this: I'll make arrangements for your transfer. You'll be back in Seoul by summer."

Akira shrugged, unfazed. "Do what you want, Mrs. Bae. I'll handle it."

The line went dead.

Akira tossed her phone aside, her mind reeling with memories. How came this woman want her now after destroying her completely, didn't she get peace after torturing her in childhood......she stare at the celling blankly whole night without having sleep in her eyes...

---

The next morning, Akira woke up, Mrs. Bae's call still fresh in her mind. She lay in bed, thinking.

"It's been years since I've heard from her," Akira thought. "Now she remembers me, after all the pain she's caused."

Memories flooded back – the emotional abuse, the belittling, the constant comparisons to Yuna.

"But I'm not that vulnerable girl anymore," Akira thought, determination rising. "I'll go back to Seoul, but on my terms."

Akira got out of bed, her eyes locked on her phone.

"Time to plan my revenge," she thought.

At the cafeteria, Akira met her friends.

"Hey, guys! What's up?" Jennie asked.

Akira revealed, "Mrs. Bae called last night. She wants me to move back to Seoul."

Lisa raised an eyebrow. "What's your plan?"

Akira grinned mischievously. "I'll go, but on my terms. I'll make her and Yuna's life hell."

Rose chimed in, "We'll miss you, but we'll support your revenge plan."

Jisso asked, "What's your strategy?"

Akira's eyes sparkled. "I'll play along, pretend to be the obedient daughter. Then, I'll expose her secrets and Yuna's manipulations."

Her friends nodded in agreement.

"We'll be here, backing you up," Jennie said.

Akira smiled, feeling confident. "Let's do this."

The sun had just set, casting a warm orange glow over the school courtyard. Akira and her friends sat together on a bench, surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant flowers. The atmosphere was peaceful, but Akira's mind was racing.

Rose suggested, "Let's do something to take your mind off it. We can plan a fun night!"

Jisso chimed in, "Yeah! A sleepover! We can watch movies, eat snacks, and just relax."

Akira smiled weakly, touched by their kindness. "You guys don't have to..."

But her friends insisted, determined to lift her spirits.

"Come on, it'll be fun!" Jennie said. "We can make it a theme night."

"Comfy PJs and favorite movies," Rose suggested.

"And snacks!" Jisso added. "Lots of snacks."

Akira's smile grew, feeling grateful for her friends. "Okay, let's do it."

The group began making plans, excitement building.

"Friday night, my place," Akira said.

"Theme?" Lisa asked.

"Comfy PJs and favorite movies," Rose repeated.

Jisso chimed in, "And snacks! We'll bring everything."

Jennie nodded. "We'll make it a night to remember."

Akira's smile grew, feeling a weight lift.

Friday evening arrived, and Akira's mansion transformed into a cozy sleepover haven.

Soft blankets, pillows, and twinkling lights filled the living room.

Her friends arrived, bearing snacks, movies, and supportive smiles.

"Time to forget Mrs. Bae's drama," Lisa said, handing Akira a bowl of popcorn.

Akira laughed, feeling a weight lift.

As they watched movies, shared stories, and giggled, Akira's worries faded.

For one night, she forgot about Mrs. Bae's manipulations.

Her friends were her sanctuary.

The night wore on, filled with laughter and camaraderie.

As they settled in for the night, Akira realized that sometimes, all you need is friendship.
