Societal Mirages

"Society gave me rules to follow,
Yet, they told me to be myself.
Renounced, cold hearted,
Yet, I am the sage of emotions.

Been in the shadows,
Unaccepted in the light.
My emotions do not have a path,
They have seats locked away.

Budged by minuscule acts.
You do not have to go extra.
My thoughts is like a mirage,
The closer you get, the more it all makes sense.

A picture will not be close enough,
A reflection can be inverted, small or big.
Just get close, share my skin before you understand.

York of different halves,
Each pigment with deep effects,
Outcast of two significant,
Making my own whole to lay out a better half."
