A Forbidden Love

     I just arrived at the restaurant. I already see a lot of business people inside the restaurant throughout the glass, with their children I think. I greet my dad with a hug and say a simple "hello" to his girlfriend and then I ask him what I should do when I meet his work colleagues. He asked me to participate in their conversations, because we are at a dinner that can improve my dad's career at his workplace. I agree and we head inside. This restaurant is one of the most fanciest restaurants in our country, having also 2 Michelin stars. I've obviously never been in here, so I am being captivated about the fancy interior, decorated with exotic plants, warm modern lights, dark walls and a lot of luxurious decorations.  

     We walk towards our table, where I can already see a lot of men and a few women. I greet them and sit down. To be honest, when I saw them, I was nervous and I still am, but I am more nervous about this because I am sitting face to face with a handsome guy. He is wearing a white shirt, black trousers with a Calvin Klein belt and has a gold chain around his neck. His whole look makes him look better. I try to listen to what the others are saying so I could just stop being awkward and try not to look in his direction at all. 

     After probably half an hour, I tell my dad that I am going outside for some fresh air. I get up and excuse myself and then I go outside. I call my mom to see what she's doing and having a short conversation before she gets back to work. I then, hear the door opening from the inside and I look to see who's leaving. It was the guy that sits right in front of me. At that point, I didn't know how to act to not seem weird. He lights up a cigarette and starts smoking. He looked really attractive smoking, but I had to stop looking at him knowing that I should focus on writing my book and not focusing on boys, and probably I am not even his type. I turn off my phone and walk towards the door, but just when I touch the door handle, I am getting stopped by him.
