Y/N's P.O.V
I'm now at the base as Howard as some now gear for Cap and I.
Steve should already be here.
I walk into the base and see Peggy coming over to me.
Peggy: Morning, Y/N.
Y/N: Morning, Peggy.
Peggy: Is Steve not with you?
Y/N: No. I thought he was already here.
Peggy: He isn't here yet. Come on, let's go and find him.
Y/N: Okay.
Peggy and I go into the next room to find Steve.
We turn the corner to see him kissing the woman working at the desk.
Y/N: Oh, no.
Peggy: Captain!
Cap pulls away to look at us.
Y/N: Hi, Steve.
Peggy: We're ready for you if you're not otherwise occupied.
She immediately walks away as Steve tries to catch up to her.
Steve: Agent Carter, wait.
Peggy: Looks like finding a partner wasn't that hard after all.
Steve: Peggy, that's not what you thought it was.
Peggy: I don't think anything, Captain, not one thing. You always wanted to be a soldier, and now you are one. Just like all the rest.
Y/N: Well, this is fun.
Cap stops.
Steve: Well, what about you and Stark? How do I know you two haven't been fondue-ing?
Peggy turns to face him.
Peggy: You still don't know a bloody thing about women.
After that she leaves.
I sigh.
Y/N: Well done, Steve.
He sighs.
Steve: Come on, let's go find Stark.
(Five minutes later)
Cap and I are now with Stark, and he explains the fondue to us.
I was kind of confused by it too.
Howard: Fondue is just cheese and bread, fellas.
We walk into the lab.
Steve: Really? I didn't think...
Howard: Nor should you, pal. The moment you think you know what's going in a woman's head is the moment your goose is well and truly cooked.
Y/N: Wait, I don't get it. What does that mean?
Stark chuckles and pats me on the back.
Howard: Don't worry, kid. You will one day. Anyway, that's why I choose to concentrate on work, which at the moment is making sure you boys and your men don't get killed.
We go over to a desk.
Howard: Carbon polymer. Your new suits will be made using this. It should withstand you average bayonet. But HYDRA isn't gonna come at you with a pocket knife. Now, let me show you boys your new gear.
After that we move onto the next desk with some teach on it.
Howard: Alright, Lieutenant, you're up first.
