Ruhi reached the outhouse the couple had been living in and remembers the day of their departure and thinks of the beautiful butterfly room Abhira had decorated for her and misses the time she had become friends with her. As Armaan opens the door for her, Ruhi witnesses a teary Abhira on the side of her bed.
"Armaan, I want to speak to Abhira, privately", said Ruhi. Abhira's ear rose as she heard her sister wished to speak to her. However her protective husband jumped in and defended, "There's nothing you would have to talk in my absence, except insults, and that I won't let happen". Ruhi composedly said, "Armaan please, it's important, mujhe meri behen se baat karni hai." 'Behen', came as a shocker to him but he didn't think of it to be genuine and continued saying, "Ruhi I told yo-" "Khadusmaan! It's always Sisters before Misters so please! Don't be a Khadusmaan to Ruhi di too now" Abhira interrupted as she had lost her brain due to her unwavering emotions on listening 'behen' from Ruhi and wanted no delay in talking to her as a new sense of hope had risen in her heart. Armaan finally gave up in front of her wife and left, only to eavesdrop on the sisters from outside.
"Apni mumma ka birthday celebrate kar rahi ko aansu baha ke?" said Ruhi to Abhira. Abhira's tears started to form again as she said, "Tumhe yaad hai Ruhi?" "Ofcourse yaad hai Abhira, I can never ever forget anything related to that woman, even after death" said Ruhi with a heavy heart. Abhira saddened as she knew what she meant by those words.

A silent war of past duelling with the present could clearly be sensed in the room. An awkward and painful silence had silenced the place. That's when Abhira threw her emotions back and to lighten the mood, yelled, "Ruhiiii, have you thought of a name for the baby???"
"Not yet", replied Ruhi lowly, very well knowing why she asked that.

Silence creeped again, when Abhira's reminder started beeping "Noodle cake for mumma....noodle cake for mumma....noodle cake for mumma....noodle cak-", till she turned it off saying, "Sorry wohh we used to celebrate like this every year coz the chefs of our resort always used to get a noodle cake for mumma after the day's cooking."
"Oh great, so waiting for the chefs this year too?"
"Oh, no, I just didn't get to go to the kitchen, besides maa would be too angry if she spots me there and today I am in no mood to hear ill about my mumma or her upbringing, so not this time."
"C'mon Abhira-Jugadu-Sharma, just order it or tell Armaan or the chorus gang"
"It's fine Ruhi, I'll celebrate some other way, I don't wish to create nuisance with anyone today, infact you yourself think that I would create trouble wherever I would go", she said, clearly very hurt. Ruhi didn't understand why Abhira's last line pinched her when she actually thought that, or did she?
"Uhmm, you know who has been maa's favourite lately?", she said with a fake cough.
"Saare udaipur ko pata haii, maa and her disneyland se nikle sweet Ruhi Rohit and baby Poddar!", Abhira said teasingly.
"Very funny, jealous ho?", replied Ruhi sarcastically, to which Abhira chuckled. "Well then, who do you think can go to the kitchen to cook without upsetting maa?", she continued with a winky smile.
"Ofcourse yo- wait, waittt, WAITTTTT WHATTTT??!! Ruhiiiii-"
