chapter 10-

~Special POV (serayah's):

The small tour went by quite quickly, we took pictures of the Big Ben and the London Eye and other tourist attractions.
They seemed to really like the London Eye which was reasonable since it glowed a pretty pink colour.
For some odd reason it looked prettier today of all the times I've gone to see it.
I glanced over at ni-ki who was talking amongst his members. I kind of felt like I was being ignored even after he gave me his number which sucked.
I patted my pockets to find my phone and took it out, checking the time. 'Oh it's not that late, it isn't even 11pm yet.' I thought to myself, before Nadreen began talking to them again.
"So that's pretty much everything, there's one more place we want to take you guys. It's probably packed right now but I doubt anyone will notice you guys." Nadreen excitedly explained to them.
"Where are we going?" Ni-ki asked, I felt a small grin appearing on my face. Finally he spoke, I almost thought he was a mute.
"We're going...winter wonderland! It's like an amusement park for the winter. Quite a romantic place might I add" She replied, clasping her hands in excitement.
"Oh yeah, the name rings a bell. I think I saw it on tiktok, it's famous here in London right?" Jake asked, taking his phone out, I assume to check if he was mistaken.
"No you're right, it's quite famous especially in central London but it only comes for a limited time which is winter. It leaves on January 1st." I spoke, feeling ni-ki's gaze slowly switch to me.
"Yep, it's mainly couples that go but it's still normal to go with friends." Nadreen added on, what was she trying to get at? What a cheeky girl but do your thing I guess.
"Well then let's go, what are we waiting for." Ni-ki said, slightly grinning and maintaining his eye contact with me. My knees felt weak and my stomach has butterflies, why did he have to look at me like that and of all times, why now. The thoughts in my head went spiraling.
We began walking towards the car that they insisted for us to go into again, but this time two other members would ride with us.
This time it was Ni-ki and jake.
Just great.

~Jake's POV:

I was in the car with the girls this time, along side with ni-ki. I still couldn't believe I was in the same car as someone that I happen to talk to online.
And on top of that, she's an engene..
I just couldn't imagine a coincidence like this, not even once in a life time. I took a moment to take in her visuals, she was very beautiful, from her hair, to her dimples, to her lips and to her body. Everything was almost perfect. Not to sound like a perv or anything but I was somewhat glad it turned out to be her and not some actual creepy sasaeng. One thing I had to maintain was, acting like I'm not aware that she's y/n or accidentally blurting out that I'm 'J'.
I had to be very wary of that of everything would quite literally turn left.
I glanced over at her and she took her phone out, does she have a significant other, a boyfriend maybe? I thought to myself.
I doubt it, she seemed quite single to be honest.
I didn't see a ring on that finger either.
I mean, not like I care or anything.
Whilst spying on the screen of her phone using my peripheral vision, I noticed she was texting 'J'.
Which took me a while to realise that it was me, fuck is my phone even on silent? I need to go on DND. I just remembered.
I quickly pat my pockets without looking obvious or distressed and looked for my phone before she was able to send anything. Finally finding it, I pressed the Do not disturb button and let out a breath of relief. That was a close one, if I wasn't quick enough I definitely would've been cooked.
I glanced over at ni-ki whose eyes were practically glued onto serayah's. How down bad can one be?
"Serayah, I think somebody wants to talk to you.." I spoke, eyeing down ni-ki and glancing back at her.
"Oh..uh so how have you been Ni-ki?" She asked, the air was so tense and awkward it made me want to leave the car already.
"I've been alright, what about you..serayah?" Ni-ki replied, I could tell he was nervous. That's natural but I personally couldn't ever be nervous over a woman. I frowned feeling a wave of cringe hit me a little before I heard a very faint clearing throat sound.
