A/N: TIME LINE (YNES & MAEVE's WEDDING)

After the talk had ended, Yrosz stayed on the balcony of their parent's suite, holding a wine in her hand.

Sighing to herself, Yrosz stared at the sky as she tried to clear all the thoughts in her head.

"Garnet? Why are you still here?" She looked at her back and saw her mom approaching.

Gernise, on the other hand, noticed that her youngest was just straightly looking as her

She stared back and looked directly into her eyes, trying to see any visible emotion, but she failed. Yrosz's eyes were like a blank canvas.

"Garnet Yrosz," she said again, making the youngest Reed snap out of Revier.

"Oh yeah. Sorry po, I just wanted some fresh air. Maganda po hangin dito sa balcony niyo," she said before standing straightly.

She may not have been with her children for more than a decade, but seeing them from afar, Gernise already knows that Garnet Yrosz may look like her, but her personality all came from Midnight.

Midnight can pretend on whatever emotion he wanted everyone to see, masking all of his emotions and setting it aside until he figures out what steps he should take to fully express what he wants.

And that goes the same for Yrosz. If they would look at her children, Yves and Ynes were the ones who're more like her.

"Ask Garnet," she said, making Yosz sigh.

"I still don't know how to ask it properly without hurting you. I know you've been through a lot, and I don't want to add any pain to you if ever I ask something that might be hurtful."

"I understand that. What's running through your mind?" She asked. Gernise was fully aware of how to handle this kind of situation. She handled Midnight's tangled thoughts for years, and trying it on Yrosz wouldn't hurt.

"Bakit ngayon lang? Bakit kahit kaunting pag-asa hindi mo binigay noon? Why did you let us fully believe that you were gone?" she asked one after another.

"Bakit ngayon lang, ma? Sayo na din mismo nanggaling. You were there looking at us from afar, so why didn't you give us the hope earlier? Don't you trust our capabilities of protecting you? Don't you think that we can keep you being alive a secret?"

Realizing what she has just said, Yrosz's eyes widen in shock before looking at her mother, who was just smiling.
