The Maintenance Bot

Name: Spindle

Seeker

Size: Slightly shorter than Bumblebee

Colorscheme: Olive green, brown, and dark silver

General Description: Triangular wings similar to Starscream, as well as a similarly slim frame though not nearly as skinny, with wider hips. He has sharp digits and glowing blue circles over the top of his forearms. Yellow optics.

Primary Weapon: Pistol-esque gun.  

 Spindle is the maintenance bot aboard the Nemesis, keeping the inner workings of the ship functioning. He and Soundwave keep the entire warship from falling out of the sky. He has an attitude akin to Ratchet mixed with Gen-Z. He's that character that's just done with everything and everyone, and he's super sarcastic. He can create a bright blue shield that's just big enough to cover him from the front by crossing his arms in an "x."

I think Spindle would be really fun to write! This is a scene I already have written out so you can get an idea of his personality. It's not much, but it's a good little snippet.

For context, this is right after the whole Nemesis fiasco when Megatron thought that infusing the ship with Dark Energon would be a good idea. Spindle got frozen and was only made aware of the decision after the fact. Here it is:

 "Okay, so let me get this straight," Spindle said, one servo on his hip with the other pinching an imaginary nose. "You infused the Nemesis with Dark Energon."

"Yes," Knockout confirmed.

"You infused the Nemesis with Dark Energon, not knowing what it would do," Spindle continued.

"For what it's worth, I advised against it," Knockout added.

"You infused the Nemesis with Dark Energon, not knowing what it would do, against the medic's better judgement, and no one thought to ask the maintenance bot, who probably knows this ship better than anyone, IF IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA?!"

There was a moment of silence before Knockout mumbled, "Well, when you put it that way..."

Spindle turned and started walking toward the door. "I'm done."

"And just where do you think you're going?" Megatron demanded.

"Out," Spindle responded without stopping. "If I'm not back in an hour, I've flown into the ocean."

"You are not going anywhere until this ship is returned to full operational status!" Megatron snapped.

"Yeah, I know," Spindle called over his shoulder, disappearing down the corridor.

What do ya'll think? I have some interesting ideas for a plot if anyone's interested.  I don't have to write the whole book, but if you want I can just give a general list of thoughts.
